본 발명은 광 디스크 플레이어의 탐색 재생방법에 관한 것으로, (가) 소정의 디스크를 로딩한 후 상기 디스크의 리드-인(lead-in)영역으로 부터 상기 디스크에 기록된 데이타의 내용 정보를 나타내는 TOC(table of contents) 데이타를 판독 및 저장하는 단계와; (나) 상기 TOC 데이타의 판독결과 상기 디스크에 데이타 내용별로 구분되어 기록된 트랙이 기 설정된 소정 개수 이하이면, 재생시간이 기 설정된 기준 재생시간보다 큰 트랙에 대하여 각각의 트랙의 재생시간을 기 설정된 소정의 시간 간격으로 구간을 나누어 각각의 구간에 가상 트랙 번호를 할당하여 이를 트랙별로 저장한 후 키 입력을 대기하고, 상기 디스크에 데이타 내용별로 구분되어 기록된 트랙이 기 설정된 소정 개수보다 크면 곧바로 키입력을 대기하는 단계와; (다) 상기 단계(나) 후 가상 트랙 탐색 키 신호가 입력되면 상기 단계(나)에서 저장된 가상 트랙이 있는지를 판별하여, 가상트랙이 존재하면 입력되는 가상 트랙번호에 따른 가상 트랙의 시작 위치를 탐색한 후 재생을 실행하는 단계를 포함한다. PURPOSE: A recording method/device of an audio system are provided to automatically select recording object data by a receiving party, not by a transmission party, and to decide the sequence of recorded data by the receiving party. CONSTITUTION: Music to be recorded and the recording sequence are set and stored in a storage unit(15). If music is inputted through an input unit(11), the storage unit(15) decides whether to record the inputted music. If the inputted music is not desired to be recorded, an input terminal of the first switching unit(13) is switched to the first output terminal and the inputted music is by-passed to an output unit(17). If the inputted music is desired to be recorded, the first switching unit(13) is switched to the second output terminal and the inputted music is inputted to the second switching unit(14) through the second output terminal of the first switching unit(13). A discriminator(12) detects a start position of the inputted music, and switches an input terminal of the second switching unit(14) to the second output terminal. The second switching unit(14) outputs the music inputted through the first switching unit(13) to a recording unit(16) through the second output terminal for recording, and outputs the music to an output unit(17). If a mute block of the recorded music is maintained during a predetermined time, the discriminator(12) decides the end of the music, to switch the input terminal of the second switching unit(14) to the first output terminal and stop the recording operation. If music desired to be recorded exists, the above steps are repeated. And if music to be recorded does not exist, the recording operation is ended.
