Ferner betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung eines erfindungsgemäßen Klebebandes (1) zum Ummanteln von Kabelsätzen sowie einen Kabelbaum (3), der mehrere, jeweils mit einer Isolierung (2a) versehene, insbesondere elektrische, Leitungen (2) und ein erfindungsgemäßes Klebeband (1), mit dem diese Leitungen (2) umwickelt sind, umfasst.

After repeating the above steps, the arranged wires are tied up to form a wire harness. There is also provided a device which puts the above method into practice, thereby reducing complicated assorting work involved in the manufacture of a wire harness. A method and a device for automatically uncovering end portions of each wire of the wire harness and attaching terminals thereto are also provided to greatly increasing the productivity.

The bundle of wires and the strain cord are held in a bundle of substantially circular cross-section by a lacing of thread formed as a sewing machine stitch of the zig zag type. Hairing members of uniform length are secured to the bundle under the lacing at predetermined intervals with the hairing more closely spaced on the larger diameter of the bundle. In another embodiment, the hairing members are spaced uniformly but are of variable length with longer members on the larger diameter of the bundle.

A shielded harness is simply constructed such that covered wires are fitted into a groove of a molded body, and then an opening of the groove is covered with a metal casing. This simple structure allows noise to be released to the metal casing, which functions as a ground, via a metal plate constituting the molded body when the noise is generated at a control system unit or comes from an external device. The metal casing of the shielded harness can be used as a housing of a device, such as a power converter, and therefore, a fixing tool is not required for wiring, and the wiring is made easy. Moreover, compared with a conventional shielded wire, this shielded harness has a small number of parts and is produced by an easy method, thereby allowing reduction in production cost. 1. A shielded harness comprising:a covered wire having a connector at each end of the covered wire;a molded body containing a conductive material and having a groove for receiving the covered wire;a metal casing arranged to close an opening of the groove of the molded body and electrically connected to the molded body; anda fixing part that fixes the molded body to the metal casing.2.
