Disclosed herein is a battery pack case in which a battery module having a plurality of stacked battery cells or unit modules (‘unit cells’) is mounted, wherein the battery pack case is provided at the upper part and the lower part thereof with a coolant inlet port and a coolant outlet port, respectively, which are directed in opposite directions such that a coolant to cool the unit cells can flow from one side to the other side of the battery module in a direction perpendicular to a cell stacking direction, the battery pack case is further provided with a flow space (‘coolant introduction part’) extending from the coolant inlet port to the battery module and another flow space (‘coolant discharge part’) extending from the battery module to the coolant outlet port, and the flow channel width of the coolant introduction part and/or the flow channel width of the coolant discharge part is greater than that of each of the unit cells, thereby achieving uniform distribution of the coolant. 1. The nonaqueous secondary battery electrode is preferably used as a negative electrode. In addition, the layered composition is preferably formed in layers by π-electron interaction of the aromatic compound and has a monoclinic crystal structure belonging to the space group P2 1 /c.

An electric storage system is provided in which a protruding portion is provided in a lower portion of an outer wall surface of a submersion-prevention vessel accommodating a cell module, a fixing member for fixing the protruding portion is provided on a rear side of a top surface of a mounting base for mounting the submersion-prevention vessel, and a guide member that is formed so as to gradually expand in width toward a side opposite to a direction of slidably moving when mounting the submersion-prevention vessel is provided on both end portions of the fixing member.

A rechargeable battery comprising:a case accommodating an electrode assembly therein;a cap plate covering an opening of the case and having terminal holes; andelectrode terminals installed in the terminal holes and electrically connected to the electrode assembly,wherein the electrode terminals are protruded from lateral surfaces of the case adjacent the opening.2. The rechargeable battery of claim 1 , wherein the case has support recesses formed on the lateral surfaces to support the protruded electrode terminals.3. The rechargeable battery of claim 1 , wherein the cap plate comprises:a planar portion corresponding to the opening of the case; andlateral portions extending from end portions of the planar portion in a direction perpendicular to the planar portion.4. The rechargeable battery of claim 3 , wherein the lateral portions face each other at opposite sides of the planar portion and have the terminal holes formed therein.5. The rechargeable battery of claim 3 , wherein the lateral portions are connected to the lateral surfaces of the case claim 3 , and close support recesses formed on the lateral surfaces to support the electrode terminals.6. The rechargeable battery of claim 3 , further comprising lead tabs connected to uncoated regions of the electrode assembly claim 3 , the lead tabs corresponding to the lateral portions and connected to inner ends of the electrode terminals.7.
