Apparatus and method for digital configuration of integrated circuits (ICs) are provided herein. In certain implementations, an IC includes an impedance sensing circuit and at least one pin used for digital configuration. The impedance sensing circuit can detect an impedance value of an external passive network electrically connected to the pin, and can digitally configure the IC based on the detected impedance. For example, an end-user can connect an external resistor of a particular resistance to the pin, and the impedance sensing circuit can sense or detect the external resistor's resistance and digitally configure the IC based on the detected resistance. Accordingly, an end-user can digitally configure the IC by connecting a passive external component corresponding to a desired digital configuration to the pin. In certain implementations, the IC includes multiple pins, and the digital configuration is based on the impedances detected on each of the pins.

A touch sensor includes electrodes that are serially arranged and a processor with multiple input terminals. The electrodes are grouped into first, second and third groups of electrodes. Each electrode of the first group is coupled with a corresponding input terminal of the processor. The electrodes of the second group are sequentially coupled with the input terminals of the processor by way of odd numbered electrodes of the first group. A keyboard capable of recognizing the simultaneous input of plural keys is provided to prevent the ghost key phenomenon by using a membrane keyboard film unit and a plurality of rectification elements. In a pair of membrane films, a keyboard matrix(80) is formed. A plurality of membrane film unit ports are connected to the keyboard matrix. A PCB port is connected to the membrane film unit port. A keyboard controller(83) outputs a key input sensing signal to the keyboard matrix, and determines an key which a user inputs. A plurality of rectification elements are arranged between the PCB port and keyboard controller. An input port(Port A) receives a signal delivered from the keyboard matrix.
