An apparatus comprising:an input unit configured to input image data from an image supplying device and instruction information for specifying an instruction performed on the image supplying device, the image data being input in a page unit;a creating unit configured to create an image file containing a plurality of pages of the image data input by the input unit as one file, the creating unit creating the image file containing the plurality of pages of the image data input by the input unit until the instruction information indicating an end is input by the input unit; anda deleting unit configured to delete the image data input by the input unit in a case where the instruction information input by the input unit indicates a deletion of the image data.2.
