Heat sink cooling arrangement for multiple power electronic circuits

Номер: US20120014063A1
Автор: Bruce W. Weiss
Принадлежит: Rockwell Automation Technologies Inc

The present invention relates generally to tuning the flow of cooling air across converter and inverter heat sinks in a motor drive system. More specifically, present techniques relate to motor drive duct systems including heat sinks with separate, sequential heat sink fin sections disposed in a common cooling air path and having different geometries to optimize the flow of cooling air across and between fins of the separate heat sink fin sections. For example, the heat sink fin sections may have different fin lengths, fin heights, fin counts, fin pitch (e.g., distance between adjacent fins), and so forth. Each of these different geometric characteristics may be tuned to ensure that temperatures and temperature gradients across the heat sinks are maintained within acceptable ranges.

Component mounting system, image recognition data preparation apparatus, and image recognition data preparation method

Номер: US20120293648A1
Принадлежит: Panasonic Corp

It is an objective to provide a component mounting system capable of enhancing work efficiency by diminishing work load stemming from preparation of image recognition data, an image recognition data preparation apparatus, and an image recognition data preparation method. A line camera structurally similar to a line camera used in a component mounting machine outputs image data while a component is irradiated with reflective illumination light and transmissive illumination light. The thus-output image data are acquired and subjected to recognition processing, to thus prepare image recognition data on the basis of a result of recognition processing. Subsequently, a recognition test using the thus-prepared image recognition data is performed, thereby determining whether or not the image recognition data are appropriate. A recognition test which would be performed in an actual component mounting machine thereby becomes unnecessary. Data readjustment operation which would be required when a result of recognition test is determined to be inappropriate is precluded, so that work efficiency can be enhanced by diminishing work load stemming from preparation of image recognition data.

A handheld mobile device casing and a molding method of the same includes manufacturing a glass part and a supporting part. The glass part is used as a sight window on the handheld mobile device casing, and the supporting part is used to support the glass part. The glass part is placed on the supporting part in a staggered manner, which is to say, one end of the supporting part is exposed out of the glass part. The injection molding is performed to form a handheld mobile device casing that encapsulates the glass part and supporting part. With that molding method, the boundary of the sight window can be tightly coupled to the casing, without any offset or clearance. The glass sight window has high hardness and is wear resistant. The molding process is easy to operate, and the subsequent assembly process can be simplified.
