The timing switch unit is coupled to the photosensitive switch unit and is configured to only connect only the electrical power input port to the light emitting unit for a conduction time frame responsive to the photosensitive switch unit detecting that the light level is less than the luminosity threshold value so that the photosensitive timer module transmits electricity during the conduction time frame when the luminosity detected by the photosensitive element is less than the luminosity threshold value. The control switch has a first mode that connects the photosensitive switch unit and the timing switch unit to the electrical power input port and a second mode that connects the electrical power input port to the light emitting unit without passing through the photosensitive switch unit or the timing switch unit so that electricity is transmitted to the light emitting device regardless of the light level detected by the photosensitive switch unit.

Most light rays emitted into the light guide by the light source which encounter any of the structures are re directed through the light guide toward the viewing surface, substantially uniformly illuminating the display in a low ambient light environment.

Digital Control Ready (DCR) is a two-way open standard for controlling and managing next-generation fixtures. A DCR-enabled lighting fixture responds to digital control signals from a separate digital light agent (DLA) instead of analog dimming signals, eliminating the need for digital-to-analog signal conditioning, fixture-to-fixture variations in response, and calibration specific to each fixture. In addition, a DCR-enabled lighting fixture may also report its power consumption, measured light output, measured color temperature, temperature, and/or other operating parameters to the DLA via the same bidirectional data link that carries the digital control signals to the fixture. The DLA processes these signals in a feedback loop to implement more precise lighting control. The DCR-enabled lighting fixture also transforms AC power to DC power and supplies (and measures) DC power to the DLA via a DCR interface. These features enable intelligent, networked DCR lighting systems operate with lower power (energy) consumption, greater flexibility, and simpler installation than other intelligent lighting networks.
