The valve seat engages a central area of the diaphragm that is not proximate the perimeter of the diaphragm, and the dome shaped structure has a sectional radius greater than the diaphragm radius. One or more conductivity, pH, and temperature sensors or probes are positioned in the sampling and rejection device to measure the condensate. The sampling and rejection device includes a collection vessel to hold and temporarily store the condensate. The sampling and rejection device includes an outlet or a return line (to a central boiler) and a drain line. If the sensor measures undesirable conductivity, pH, or temperature in the condensate in the collection vessel, then a valve to the drain line is opened and the condensate is rejected.

The methods generally include splitting a single process gas supply source into multiple inputs of separate process chambers, such that each chamber processes substrates under uniform processing conditions. The method generally includes using a mass flow controller as a reference for calibrating a flow ratio controller. A span correction factor may be determined to account for the difference between the actual flow and the measured flow through the flow ratio controller. The span correction factors may be used to determine corrected set points for each channel of the flow controller using equations provided herein. Furthermore, the set points of the flow ratio controller may be made gas-independent using additional equations provided herein.

A safety valve for a dairy system component , the safety valve comprising: a first valve seat,', 'a second valve seat, and', 'a third valve seat; and, 'a cup defininga valve piston slidably disposed at least partially in the cup to move the safety valve between: a closed position, in which the first valve seat and the second valve seat are closed, and the third valve seat is open to a vent; and an open position, in which the first valve seat and the second valve seat are open to a fluid flow channel between the first valve seat and the second valve seat, and the third valve seat is closed to the vent.2. The safety valve of claim 1 , wherein the first valve seat and the second valve seat are at least partially defined by openings in a closed end of the cup claim 1 , and the third valve seat is at least partially defined by an open end portion of the cup.3. Methods and apparatuses for delivering a process gas to a processing chamber are provided. A mass flow controller includes a first flow line for introducing a process fluid and an inlet valve disposed along the first flow line for controlling a flow rate of the process fluid. The mass flow controller includes a second flow line for introducing a carrier fluid into the mass flow controller and a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) Coriolis sensor for providing a density signal and a mass flow rate signal for a mixture of the process fluid and the carrier fluid. The mass flow controller provided includes an outlet valve for controlling a mass flow rate of the mixture that is output by the mass flow controller as well as a controller for operating the inlet valve based on the density signal and for operating the outlet valve based on the mass flow rate signal.

During the production of consumable liquids such as milk, soup, and juice, the liquid consumable may be transferred from one location to another location through a fluid conduit. For example, a consumable liquid may be transferred from a storage tank to another destination through piping. At the end of the process, the piping may be purged with a flushing fluid to push the liquid consumable remaining in the piping to the end destination, thus preventing the volume of liquid remaining in the piping from being wasted. To control the flushing processing, fluid flowing through the piping may be fluorometrically analyzed to determine a concentration of product in the fluid. The flushing liquid can then be controlled based on the determined concentration. For example, the supply of flushing liquid may be terminated when the concentration of product falls below a threshold, indicating the flushing liquid is diluting the liquid consumable. 1. A method comprising:flushing a product liquid through a fluid conduit with a flushing liquid;fluorometrically analyzing fluid flowing through the fluid conduit to determine a concentration of product in the fluid; andcontrolling the flushing liquid based on the determined concentration of the product in the fluid.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the product liquid comprises a human-consumable product.3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the product liquid comprises at least one of a dairy product claim 2 , a juice claim 2 , and a fermented beverage claim 2 , and the flushing liquid consists essentially of water.4. The present invention generally relates to hemodialysis and similar dialysis systems, including a variety of systems and methods that would make hemodialysis more efficient, easier, and/or more affordable. One aspect of the invention is generally directed to new fluid circuits for fluid flow. According to one aspect, a blood pump is configured to pump blood to a dialyzer of a hemodialysis apparatus, the blood pump comprising a pneumatically actuated or controlled reciprocating diaphragm pump. In an embodiment, the diaphragm of the pump comprises a flexible membrane formed or molded to generally conform to a curved inner wall of a pumping chamber or control chamber of the pump, wherein the diaphragm is pre-formed or molded to have a control side taking a convex shape, so that any elastic tension on the diaphragm is minimized when fully extended into a control chamber of the pump. In another aspect, a system for monitoring the adequacy of blood flow in a blood line of the hemodialysis apparatus allows a controller to suspend dialysate pumping operations if the adequacy of blood flow in the blood line is sub-optimal, and to present information on a display on the quality of blood flow in the blood line.

An exemplary piston member may be slidably reset in a non-interrupting mode by an adequate primary fluid pressure, and slidably set in an interrupting mode by a user activation. The interrupting mode may silence the whistle which may facilitate user communication during what may be a stressful primary fluid source failure event. Some exemplary automatic fluid alarms may conserve secondary fluid when the whistle is silenced.

The primary suspension flow metre measures the flow rate of the primary suspension of the catalyst composition arriving at the primary catalyst injecting device. The secondary suspension flow metre measures the flow rate of the secondary suspension of the catalyst composition arriving at the secondary catalyst injecting device. The secondary carrier liquid flow control device controls a method parameter of the secondary suspension feeding system based on the ratio of the flow rate of the primary suspension of the catalyst composition to the flow rate of the secondary suspension of the catalyst composition. The method parameter, which is controlled by the secondary carrier liquid control device, is the flow rate of the secondary carrier liquid measured by the secondary carrier liquid flow metre. The secondary carrier frequency controller controls the secondary carrier liquid control device based on the flow rate of the secondary carrier liquid and the flow rate set by the secondary carrier liquid flow controller. An automatic liquid flow control device for use in the application of building insulation foam is disclosed comprising flow meters to measure the flow of resin and foaming agent through conduits to the application gun, a needle valve connected to the resin conduit and operated by a servo motor, a controller to control the servo motor and having a selector to allow selection of the desired ratio of resin to foaming agent, a comparator to compare the actual ratio of resin flow/foaming agent flow to the selected ratio with the controller automatically controlling the servo motor and needle valve to "slave" the resin flow to the foaming agent flow in order to adjust the resin flow/foaming agent flow to the selected ratio. The comparator also compares the actual flow through the resin and foaming agent conduits to predetermine flow values in order to determine abnormal operating conditions. Visual indicators provide visual indication of these abnormal operating conditions and provide visual indication of deviation from the selected ratio. The controller deactivates the servo motor in response to these abnormal operating conditions or to excessive deviation from the selected ratio. The driving pump for the resin and foaming agent liquids is electrically connectable to the controller so that the controller can also deactivate the pump due to the presence of abnormal operating conditions or excessive deviation of ratio mixture for a predetermined time interval.
