Ablaufventil

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Ablaufventil (18), welches insbesondere in Vorratstanks (10) von Spülmaschinen wie Einkammer- oder Mehrkammerspülmaschinen eingesetzt wird. Das Ablaufventil (18) umfasst einen Siebeinsatz (20). Der Siebeinsatz (20) ist auf einem rohrförmig ausgebildeten Träger (28) aufgenommen, in welchem ein Kontaktschalter (34) angeordnet ist und der mittels eines Elektroantriebs in vertikaler Richtung (44) in Bezug auf die Ablauföffnung (14) im Boden eines Vorratstanks (10) bewegbar ist.

Mehrteilige Filterkombination

In einer abgestuften Bohrung (21) eines fluidführenden Bauteils (22) ist eine mehrteilige Filterkombination (10) aufgenommen. Dabei ist ein durchmessergrößerer Filterteil (12) einem durchmessergrößeren Bohrungsabschnitt (25) und ein durchmesserkleinerer Filterteil (13) einem durchmesserkleineren Bohrungsabschnitt (26) zugeordnet. Die beiden Filterteile (12, 13) der Filterkombination (10) sind durch einen Verbindungsteil (17) verbunden. Dieser ist beim Fügen beider Filterteile (12, 13) in deren jeweilige Endlage in der Bohrung (21) mittels eines in diese einzuführenden Stempels (20) trennbar. The dimensions of the sheet are considerable with respect to those of the deaerating valve; its surface area may attain that of the flat spread-out sack. The invention is useful in the removal of air from impermeable bags designed to receive a micromized pulverulent product.

A vapor barrier for sealing an interior of a building from an insulation cavity defined by framing members of the building includes a flexible and substantially impermeable sheet having apertures to allow air to exit the insulation cavity during filling of the insulation cavity with loose fill insulation. The vapor barrier also includes one-way valves mounted across the apertures. The valves are configured to allow air flow out of the insulation cavity and into the building interior through the apertures and to prevent air flow and moisture diffusion from the building interior into the insulation cavity.

The check valve comprises a hollow housing with an inlet and an outlet connected to an enlarged intermediate portion. The invention relates to a deaerating valve for bagging fluidized pulverulent products into sacks of the open-mouth type The valve includes a filtering sheet housed on the inside of the sack to be filled, this sheet having a texture and a thickness such that it multiplies the suction effect through the valve and plays the role of a "wick" to drain the air into a large space. The dimensions of the sheet are considerable with respect to those of the deaerating valve; its surface area may attain that of the flat spreadout sack. The invention is useful in the removal of air from impermeable bags designed to receive a micromized pulverulent product.

FILTERING DEVICE

Disclosed is a filter for use in a faucet of the type having a removable cartridge member receivable in an underbody member, the cartridge member carrying a cam member, at least one cam follower member and a valve member actuated by the cam follower member upon movement of the cam to control fluid communication between a spout and a source of water. The filter member is removably attached to a projection on the valve member and moves with it within a passage in the underbody member through which water flows from the source. By this means, large particles are prevented by the filter from entering the faucet. The filter comprises an inner annular member, an outer annular ring member, and a plurality of flat web connecting members extending radially between the inner and outer annular members. The inner annular member has a through hole which tapers from a first diameter to a second diameter so that the inner annular member can be forced over a head portion on the projection whereafter it is latched thereon. Should the filter become clogged, it is easily removed and cleaned.

An inline well fluid separator (11) is movable for pigging operations. The separator assembly has a housing (13) with an inlet port and an outlet port. A separation unit (11) is carried within the housing. The separation unit has an operational position in alignment with the ports to cause well fluid to flow through the separation unit. The present invention is a filter device with methods to capture a desired amount of material suspended in a liquid or gas. These filter capture methods may be used for the purification or enrichment of various sample constituents or captured material may be observed or analyzed. Alternatively, particulate material may be used as a transport mechanism for proteins or chemicals which in turn may be assessed or used. The filter device employs means to sense pressure and thereby respond to pressure changes associated with the flow rate of sample suspension through a filter, typically responding at a predetermined pressure associated with capture of a desired amount of material on the filter. Additionally, the filter device employs a means to halt or otherwise adjust sample flow when such a predetermined pressure is sensed. In some embodiments a pressure-sensitive check valve is used to sense pressure and adjust sample flow, for example by adjusting or closing the flow pathway or venting the pressure causing sample flow. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A faucet spring utilized to urge the faucet seal member into sealing contact with the rotatable valving member and prevent large debris, such as valve washer screws from previous faucet assemblies, from contacting the valving member under the fluid pressure. The coil spring has a substantially frusto-conical configuration with a smaller diameter upper end which engages the seal and urges it against the valving member. The larger diameter lower end of the spring engages an annular shoulder of the counterbored inlet passage of the valve assembly. The lower end of the spring also includes an obstruction member formed as an extension of the coil spring which extends into the opening of the spring's lower end to prevent large debris from traveling through the spring and seal. As a result, the faucet spring provides the added function of preventing potentially damaging debris from contacting the valving member.

A rapid acting flow limiting valve is provided for an autoclave processing system. In this environment, each of a plurality of parts is placed in immediate proximity with a tool, then impressed into congruent engagement with the tool by an overlying vacuum bag, the interior of the vacuum bag being subjected to a vacuum via a vacuum manifold connecting all of the parts to a source of the vacuum, the interior of the vacuum bag being subjected to pressure. A first conduit leads from the chamber of the valve housing to the interior of the vacuum bag for its associated part, and a second conduit leads from the chamber to the vacuum manifold. An annular seal is positioned concentrically with an opening from the chamber into the first conduit. A flexible disk-shaped floating piston diaphragm assembly is peripherally fixed to the housing and is movable between an open position distant from the seal and a closed position engaged with the seal to thereby block flow through the first conduit. An annular spring concentric with the annular seal biases the floating piston diaphragm assembly toward the open position. Should the vacuum bag for a second part rupture, which would cause pressurized fluid flow to be introduced into the vacuum manifold toward the valve associated with the first part, the diaphragm assembly for that valve is moved to the closed position preventing pressurized fluid flow into the vacuum bag for the first part.

This aim is achieved in principle in that cold-extruded joining elements are used between the valve and the housing (1) rendering separate rubber seals superfluous and provide a firm, uniformly unbreakable joint. In advantageous embodiments, some of the prior art valve components are made as one piece and the number of cold-extruded joining elements is reduced.

Valve Assembly

A valve device which can reliably seal water even after a long continuous use. It has a valve seat made of a hard ceramic having a fluid passage and a valve body made of a self-lubricating polyphenylene sulfide resin and slidably put on the valve seat. Inlet passages are formed in the valve body. The surface of the valve body to be brought into sliding contact with the valve seat is lapped into a flat or crowned smooth surface after swelling the valve body with liquid. Otherwise, the valve seat and the valve body are made of synthetic resins that show no adhesion to each other. The base and the valve seat may be integrally formed. Also, elastic packings may be provided on the end face of the base so as to protrude into the bottom openings of the inlet passages. Small-dimater flanged rings are fixed in position by the elastic packings.

Detachable inhalation valve device for a respirator filter assembly

A respirator filter assembly for use in a respirator apparatus wherein the assembly includes a respirator filter cartridge having a housing which contains filter material and has an inlet portion and an outlet portion, and a valve device that is selectively securable to an opening of the inlet portion, the outlet portion of the housing being preferably securable to respirator structure such as a face mask. The valve device preferably comprises a valve support member and a one-way valve element. The support member is provided with means for detachably securing the valve device over the inlet portion whereby the valve element is situated to regulate the inlet opening. The support member also desirably has a means for connecting the support member to the respirator apparatus, preferably the filter cartridge, such that the valve device may reside in a position so as not to obstruct the filter cartridge inlet opening when the valve device is not attached to the inlet portion.
