The Pt-coated Fe/SiO2 catalyst is used for hydrodeoxygenation treatment on 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol for the first time, and synthesis of the final product aromatic compound is realized. According to the method provided by the invention, the product is single, and the Pt-coated Fe/SiO2 catalyst is used, so that the selectivity of aromatic compounds in the final reaction product is greater than 80%. The reaction temperature is controlled to be 473 to 623K, and the 2, 6-dimethoxyphenol can be quickly and completely converted.
