A preparation method for an alumina supported cerium oxide powder material. A cerium organometallic precursor is effectively decomposed into CeO2 nanoparticles at 500-700°C in an oxygen atmosphere condition by using a chemical vapor deposition method, and the CeO2 nanoparticles are evenly dispersed on an Al2O3 support. The decomposition of the CeO2 precursor is accelerated by changing experimental parameters of reaction of organic materials and oxygen, so as to control the size and microstructure of powder, thereby achieving the preparation and even dispersion of cerium oxide nanoparticles, and avoiding the problem of generation of toxic waste water during reaction.

The method adopts ethyl orthosilicate as a raw material to coat a uniformly dispersed SiO2 nano-particle layer onto the surface of an hBN powder, then obtains the high-density hBN ceramic material by adopting a pressureless sintering method, wherein the relative density of the prepared hBN ceramic material reaches not less than 80%. The method achieves the uniform dispersion of the SiO2 sintering aid by coating SiO2 onto the surface of the hBN powder, obtains the high-density hBN ceramic in combination with high-temperature pressureless sintering, and improves the high-temperature operating temperature and high-temperature properties of the hBN while reducing the usage amount of SiO2.

The method of the present invention is simple, and is short in preparation period.
