The invention relates to an apparatus, a method, and a computer readable storage medium for controlling braking of a vehicle. An apparatus for controlling braking of a vehicle traveling in a racing track mode includes a traveling information detector configured to detect a braking request from a driver during traveling of the vehicle; the vehicle controller is configured to control braking of the vehicle according to a total demand torque, which is a sum of a regenerative braking torque of a motor of the vehicle and a friction braking torque of a brake of the vehicle, in response to the detected braking request when the braking request is detected. Wherein the vehicle controller is configured to reduce a braking force by friction braking by relatively reducing a friction braking torque by increasing a regenerative braking torque of a total demand torque, and wherein the regenerative braking torque is greater than a regenerative braking torque in a non-track mode.
