Provided are a phenylpropanoid and a preparation method and application thereof. The phenylpropanoid has a structure represented by formula (I), and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has a structure represented by formula (II) or formula (III). The phenylpropanoid and the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are capable of suppressing the amount of the inflammatory cytokine NO and the expression of the inflammatory cytokine TNF-α and inhibiting the hydroxy free radical -OH, and hence have anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activities. Thus, the phenylpropanoid and the pharmaceutical acceptable salt thereof have a good prospect of application in the preparation of a medicament for treating diseases associated with the above factors, including inflammatory diseases such as cervicitis, endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, mastitis, esophagitis and arthritis.
