The present invention relates to a thermoplastic polyether ester elastomer (TPEE) having a hard segment and a soft segment, and a method for preparing same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a TPEE comprising, within a hard segment and a soft segment, units derived from a furandicarboxylic compound or from a combination of a furandicarboxylic compound and an aromatic dicarboxylic compound, and in the soft segment, units derived from biomass-derived anhydrous sugar alcohol derivatives having improved reactivity, and to a method for preparing the TPEE.
