Ziel und Aufgabe sind, ein Verfahren zum Aufbringen von definierten und reproduzierbaren Schutzschichten auf Seltenerdoxidhalogenid-Leuchtstoffen anzugeben, so dasz der Angriff von Wasser, Wasserdampf, Luftfeuchtigkeit und anderen atmosphaerischen sowie bei der Verarbeitung wirkenden Einfluessen verhindert wird und die Leuchtstoffeigenschaften nicht beeintraechtigt werden. A formulation for forming an insulative cellular non-aromatic polymeric structure, the formulation comprising a polymer material comprising at least one high melt strength polypropylene having a unimodal molecular weight distribution; at least one nucleating agent; and at least one slip agent; optionally a second polymer material comprising (i) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, and mixtures thereof, (ii) at least one impact copolymer, or (iii) at least one polypropylene selected from the group consisting of impact copolymers and high crystalline homopolymers; and optionally at least one blowing agent comprising at least one composition selected from the group consisting of chemical blowing agents, inert gases, and combinations thereof.
