The DBS system also includes a controller configured to determine the characteristics of the corrective electrical stimulation signal based on point process models of healthy and pathological neuronal activity in the target area.

A portable silo assembly includes two or more telescopic silos. Each of the telescopic silos are multi-stage structures that are vertically movable from a collapsed transport position to a telescopically expanded operative position. Systems and methods for monitoring a subject under, or suspected to be under, the influence of one or more drugs are provided. In one aspect, a method comprises controlling one or more sensors of a monitoring device to acquire physiological signals from a subject suspected to be under the influence of one or more drugs, and assembling a set of physiological data using the acquired physiological signals. The method also includes generating, using a processor of the monitoring device, physiological markers characteristic of the influence of the one or more drugs by analyzing the set of physiological data, and correlating the physiological markers with a drug profile characterizing the one or more drugs affecting the subject. The method further includes proving to a user a report indicating the drug profile characterizing the one or more drugs affecting the subject.

Methods and systems for removing moisture from refrigerant that use a desiccant-based moisture removal unit can be used in the production of liquid natural gas (LNG). For example, a method can include: compressing a refrigerant; conveying at least a portion of the refrigerant to a moisture removal unit comprising a desiccant to form dehydrated refrigerant; cooling and condensing the dehydrated refrigerant to provide a cooled dehydrated liquid refrigerant; conveying the cooled dehydrated refrigerant to a heat exchanger; and passing a LNG stream rich in methane through the heat exchanger to cool at least part of the LNG stream by indirect heat exchange with the cooled dehydrated refrigerant.
