To alleviate or even eliminate the problems of poor adhesion of surface coatings to preferably electrolytically galvanized, phosphated metal strip, an additive that suppresses or at least slows agglomeration of the activating particles may be added to the activating bath. In some examples, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and/or sodium stearate may be added. Further, the particle size distribution of the activating particles present in the activating bath may be determined and the activating bath may be replaced or taken out of operation as a function of the particle size distribution of the activating particles.”

The compound laminate includes a transparent stabilizing layer which uniformly distributes the heat, during the gluing process in the compound laminate, until the adhesive layer softens. Upon cooling, the adhesive layer forms a firm joint with the substrate. A second layer of lacquer masks the diffraction elements and serves as a carrier for the adhesive layer. Die Aufgabe besteht darin, mit einfachen, funktionssicheren Elementen vom Pressenantrieb aus eine allmaehliche Beschleunigung des Ziehkissens von Null bis auf nahezu Stoesselgeschwindigkeit bei pneumatischen Ziehkissen gegen die anliegende Kissenkraft bzw. bei hydropneumatischen und hydraulischen Ziehkissen gegen die bei Bewegungsbeginn wirkende Kissenkraft zu steuern. Erfindungsgemaess wird die Aufgabe dadurch geloest, dass im Steuerleitungssystem ein Teleskopzylinder mit einem Kolben und teleskopfoermig ausgebildeten Ringkolben angeordnet ist, wobei die Ringkolben durch den Pressenantrieb mittels Stempel betaetigbar sind. Die einzelnen Teleskopkolben werden durch die Abwaertsbewegung des Pressenantriebes nacheinander beaufschlagt und verdraengen ihrerseits das Druckmittel in den fuer steuerbare Ziehkissen bereits vorhandenen Sperrzylinder. Die zu beschleunigenden Kissenmassen werden dabei durch die Wirkflaeche des Sperrkolbens je nach Anzahl der Teleskopkolben in Stufen von der Ruhelage auf eine Geschwindigkeit nahe der Stoesselgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt.
