Wax removal in a production line

Номер: US20210123322A1
Принадлежит: Halliburton Energy Services Inc

In artificial lift production systems, a reduction in pressure and temperature as production fluids migrate to the surface can cause a buildup in the production tubing that reduces or stops production. To remove buildup, an ESP can be operated at low efficiency and low flow operating conditions to generate heat in the pump. The heat increases the temperature of the production fluid in the pump. When the heated production fluid is transported to the surface, the fluid increases the temperature of the production tubing resulting in a melting of the solidified wax blocking the production tubing. As the wax melts, the production fluid carries it toward the surface. Over time, the heated production fluid will melt enough solidified wax to open the production tubing to a full flow capacity, thus allowing standard production operation to continue.

A user input is received at the device associating a first portion of a first image of the video image frames with an AR sticker object and a target. A first target template is generated to track the target across frames of the video image frames. In some embodiments, global tracking based on a determination that the target is outside a boundary area is used. The global tracking comprises using a global tracking template for tracking movement in the video image frames captured following the determination that the target is outside the boundary area. A method and system for distributing and enforcing security policies is provided. A firewall agent executing at a host computer system that is to be protected receives security policies for the enforcement engines responsible for enforcing the security policies on the host computer system. A security policy has rules that each provide a condition and action to be performed when the condition is satisfied. A rule also has a rule type that is used by the distribution system to identify the security components that are responsible for enforcing the rules. To distribute the security policies that have been received at a host computer system, the firewall agent identifies to which enforcement engine a rule applies based in part on rule type. The firewall agent then distributes the rule to the identified enforcement engine, which then enforces the rule.

The specification discloses a spent seed recovery and regeneration process for an MHM power plant employing an alkali metal salt seed material such as potassium salt wherein the spent potassium seed in the form of potassium sulfate is collected from the flue gas and reacted with calcium hydroxide and carbon monoxide in an aqueous solution to cause the formation of calcium sulfate and potassium formate. The pH of the solution is adjusted to supress formation of formic acid and to promote precipitation of any dissolved calcium salts. The solution containing potassium formate is then employed to provide the potassium salt in the form of potassium formate or, optionally, by heating the potassium formate under oxidizing conditions to convert the potassium formate to potassium carbonate.

Mild catalytic steam gasification process

Номер: WO2007005284A3

The present invention provides an improved alkali metal catalyzed steam gasification process that utilizes a CO2 trap material and/or a mineral binder material within the gasifier. The process optimally achieves over 90% carbon conversion with over 80% yield of methane. The raw gas product can be used directly as fuel. The catalyst can be recovered from the solid purge and recycled to the gasifier and/or the CO2 trap can be regenerated and recycled to the gasifier.

Desulfurization process

Номер: US5059406A

The specification discloses a desulfurization process for use in a fossel fuel combustion process involving the generation of a flue gas product containing sulfur oxides and halogen compounds wherein an alkali metal compound is contacted with the gas resulting in the removal of sulfur oxides from the gas and formation of a water-soluble residue comprising alkali metal sulfates and alkali metal halides, which residue is collected from the gas before the gas is released to the environment. The process is adapted to recover the alkali metal ions from the collected residue for use in supplying the alkali metal ions that are contacted with the gas and for limiting the presence co-collected halogen ions within the recovered alkali metal ions. The process comprises dissolving the collected residue in water to form an aqueous solution thereof having a pH of less than about 8 so that sulfate ions, halogen ions and alkali metal ions are present in the solution. Thereafter, the solution is contacted with a weak base anion-exchange resin having bicarbonate groups associated therewith that exchange with sulfate and halogen ions in the solution so that the sulfate and halogen ions become associated with the resin and the bicarbonate groups become associated with the alkali metal ions in the solution. As a result, the alkali metal ions are separated from the sulfate ions and halogen ions for use in supplying the alkali metal compound that is contacted with the gas.

Catalytic steam gasification process with recovery and recycle of alkali metal compounds

Номер: CA2653348C
Автор: Atul C. Sheth
Принадлежит: Greatpoint Energy Inc

A high efficiency gasification process for converting carbonaceous solids to methane and apparatus for its practice are described. The process includes reacting steam and carbonaceous solids comprising ash in the presence of alkali metal catalyst in a gasification reactor to produce combustible gases and char particles comprising ash and alkali metal catalyst constituents, treating a stream of such char particles in an alkali metal catalyst recovery system to recover the catalyst constituents as alkali metal compounds, and recycling such recovered compounds. Within the alkali metal catalyst recovery system the process includes quenching the stream of char particles with water whereby such particles are cooled and fractured, dissolving soluble alkali metal catalyst constituents from the fractured solids to form a first alkali metal catalyst solution and washed solids, optionally reacting the washed solids in alkaline solution to form a second alkali metal catalyst solution, upgrading said first and optional second alkali solution to recover the alkali metal catalyst constituents as said alkali metal compounds.

A method for setting up and managing secure data/audio/video links with secure key exchanges, authentication and authorization is described. An embodiment of the invention enables establishment of a secure link with limited privileges using the machine identifier of a trusted machine. This is particularly useful if the user of the machine does not have a user identifying information suitable for authentication. Furthermore, the presentation of a default user identifying information by a user advantageously initiates intervention by a system administrator instead of a blanket denial. This decentralized procedure allows new users access to the network without having to physically access a centralized facility to present their credentials. Another embodiment of the invention enables a remote user to connect to a secure network with limited privileges.
