The present invention relates to a method of preparing an ethylene-α-olefin-diene copolymer and an ethylene-α-olefin-diene copolymer prepared thereby, by using a transition metal compound based on a cyclopenta[b]fluorenyl group as a catalyst. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transition metal catalyst composition further includes a cocatalyst selected from an aluminum compound claim 1 , a boron compound claim 1 , or a mixture thereof.5.
