Nucleic acid immunisation is achieved by delivering RNA encapsulated within a PEGylated liposome. The RNA encodes an immunogen of interest. The PEG has an average molecular mass of between 1 kDa and 3 kDa. Thus the invention provides a liposome having a lipid bilayer encapsulating an aqueous core, wherein: (i) the lipid bilayer comprises at least one lipid which includes a polyethylene glycol moiety, such that polyethylene glycol is present on the liposome's exterior, wherein the average molecular mass of the polyethylene glycol is between 1 kDa and 3 kDa; and (ii) the aqueous core includes a RNA which encodes an immunogen. These liposomes are suitable for in vivo delivery of the RNA to a vertebrate cell and so they are useful as components in pharmaceutical compositions for immunising subjects against various diseases. 1. The present invention provides a method for determining the gender of a fetus by assaying the sex hormones, evaluating the overall reducing/oxidizing (redox) activity, and/or evaluating the radical scavenging capacity of the maternal urine or other body fluid. The method can be used to determine fetal gender at any time point during the entire pregnancy. The body fluid may be processed before assaying. Processing may involve aging the body fluid, or purification of various fractions. The methods of the present invention also provide for a means for pre-conception offspring gender planning by assaying the sex hormones, evaluating the overall reducing/oxidizing (redox) activity, and/or evaluating the radical scavenging capacity of the urine or other body fluid from a non-pregnant female. Compositions and methods of their use to detect and treat anti-PD1 therapy resistance are provided herein. Compositions that immunospecifically bind and deplete dysfunctional T cells are provided. The dysfunctional T cells that are depleted include CD38PD-1 T cells, CD38CD8 T-cells, or both. The dysfunctional T cells can be depleted, for example, by administering an antibody or fusion protein that specifically binds to dysfunctional T cells and promotes their depletion. Describe is a resonator that uses ferroelectric (FE) materials in the gate of a transistor as a dielectric. The use of FE increases the strain/stress generated in the gate of the FinFET. Along with the usual capacitive drive, which is boosted with the increased polarization, FE material expands or contacts depending on the applied electric field on the gate of the transistor. As such, acoustic waves are generated by switching polarization of the FE materials. In some embodiments, the acoustic mode of the resonator is isolated using phononic gratings all around the resonator using the metal line above and vias' to body and dummy fins on the side. As such, a Bragg reflector is formed above the FE based transistor.

The present invention provides a method for determining the gender of a fetus by assaying the sex hormones, evaluating the overall reducing/oxidizing (redox) activity, and/or evaluating the radical scavenging capacity of the maternal urine or other body fluid. The method can be used to determine fetal gender at any time point during the entire pregnancy. The body fluid may be processed before assaying. Processing may involve aging the body fluid, or purification of various fractions. The methods of the present invention also provide for a means for pre-conception offspring gender planning by assaying the sex hormones, evaluating the overall reducing/oxidizing (redox) activity, and/or evaluating the radical scavenging capacity of the urine or other body fluid from a non-pregnant female. The sex hormone profiles, the overall redox activity, and/or the radical scavenging capacity of a urine sample correlates with the gender specific compatibility of the ovum being released during a particular menstrual cycle. Therefore, assaying aforementioned parameters from a non-pregnant female's urine will help a couple or an animal breeder have an offspring of a desired gender. The present invention also provides a method of conceiving a baby of a desired gender in a female by applying to the female a pharmaceutical formulation with a specific sex hormone composition.

Two single turn horizontally oriented loops are located in a common plane inside a television receiver cabinet. A multiposition switch is used to connect the loops in various combinations to the receiver antenna terminals. In a typical receiver, employing separate VHF and UHF tuner inputs a fourposition switch is employed. In one position one loop is connected to the VHF input and the other is connected to the UHF input. In the second position the loops are exchanged. In the third position both loops are connected to the VHF input and in the fourth position both loops are connected to the UHF input. Thus for either VHF or UHF reception the user has a selection of three switch positions for optimum signal pickup.
