Service Layer Dynamic Authorization

Номер: US20170063931A1
Принадлежит:

An extensible policy-based service layer dynamic authorization framework can allow a service layer to determine whether or not to grant or deny a registrant access to a resource or service hosted by the service layer for which the registrant currently lacks the proper privileges to access. This method can also enable a service layer to dynamically update its statically configured authorization privileges (by leveraging its dynamic authorization results) such that future requests from the same registrant and to the same resource and service do not require dynamic authorization to be performed. 1. An apparatus comprising a processor and a memory , the apparatus further including computer-executable instructions stored in the memory of the apparatus which , when executed by the processor of the apparatus , cause the apparatus to:receive a request at a service layer at the apparatus;at the service layer, determine whether an originator of the request has the proper static privileges to access a targeted resource; andif the originator of the request does not have the proper static privileges to access the targeted resource, evaluate the request using dynamic authorization and allow or reject the request based on the dynamic authorization.2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the apparatus consults with a consulting entity to evaluate the request using dynamic authorization.3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the service layer is configured with a policy that includes contact information for the consulting entity.4. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the consulting entity sends a list of granted privileges and a lifetime associated with the granted privileges in a response to the service layer.5. The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the apparatus updates static policies by adding a requestor as specified in the list of granted privileges.6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the requestor is temporarily added to the static policies7. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the ...

MULTI-CHANNEL SPEECH SEPARATION

Номер: US20190139563A1
Принадлежит:

Representative embodiments disclose mechanisms to separate and recognize multiple audio sources (e.g., picking out individual speakers) in an environment where they overlap and interfere with each other. The architecture uses a microphone array to spatially separate out the audio signals. The spatially filtered signals are then input into a plurality of separators, so each signal is input into a corresponding signal. The separators use neural networks to separate out audio sources. The separators typically produce multiple output signals for the single input signals. A post selection processor then assesses the separator outputs to pick the signals with the highest quality output. These signals can be used in a variety of systems such as speech recognition, meeting transcription and enhancement, hearing aids, music information retrieval, speech enhancement and so forth.

Method for Distinguishing Components of an Acoustic Signal

Номер: US20170011741A1

A method distinguishes components of a signal by processing the signal to estimate a set of analysis features, wherein each analysis feature defines an element of the signal and has feature values that represent parts of the signal, processing the signal to estimate input features of the signal, and processing the input features using a deep neural network to assign an associative descriptor to each element of the signal, wherein a degree of similarity between the associative descriptors of different elements is related to a degree to which the parts of the signal represented by the elements belong to a single component of the signal. The similarities between associative descriptors are processed to estimate correspondences between the elements of the signal and the components in the signal. Then, the signal is processed using the correspondences to distinguish component parts of the signal.

Multi-channel speech separation

Speaker-invariant training via adversarial learning

Номер: US0010347241B1

Systems and methods can be implemented to conduct speaker-invariant training for speech recognition in a variety of applications. An adversarial multi-task learning scheme for speaker-invariant training can be implemented, aiming at actively curtailing the inter-talker feature variability, while maximizing its senone discriminability to enhance the performance of a deep neural network (DNN) based automatic speech recognition system. In speaker-invariant training, a DNN acoustic model and a speaker classifier network can be jointly optimized to minimize the senone (triphone state) classification loss, and simultaneously mini-maximize the speaker classification loss. A speaker invariant and senone-discriminative intermediate feature is learned through this adversarial multi-task learning, which can be applied to an automatic speech recognition system. Additional systems and methods are disclosed.

REQUEST PROCESSING IN THE SERVICE LAYER

Номер: US20190075184A1
Принадлежит:

Methods, systems, and devices may be used to support freshness-based processing of requests. Freshness-based processing may involve the service layer examining the age of stored content (e.g., resource representation) that it hosts and determining whether it is fresh enough to satisfy a retrieve or discovery request with a specified freshness requirement. If not fresh, the service layer can contact an application to refresh the content. In addition, freshness-based processing can also involve the service layer examining the semantic state of a command oriented update request to determine whether its state is fresh or not with respect to prior commands processed by the service layer. For example, the service layer may compare stored content associated with controlling a particular application (e.g. door is locked) and against the semantic content of an update request (e.g., unlock door) to determine whether it is the same (e.g., stale) or not (e.g., fresh). If fresh, the service layer can then re-target the update request to an application to have it perform the command (e.g., unlock door). 1.
