The crotch portion has a skin contact surface and an outer surface and includes a weft knit fabric portion with at least a first predominately cotton yarn. The undergarment has improved moisture management and comfort properties. 1. An undergarment having increased moisture management and comfort , the undergarment comprising:a lower body portion having a waist opening, two leg portions or openings, and a crotch portion between the two leg portions or openings;the crotch portion having a skin contact surface and an outer surface, at least the skin contact surface of the crotch portion including a weft knit fabric portion comprising a first predominately cotton yarn;a moisture wicking treatment applied to the weft knit fabric; andan antimicrobial treatment applied to the weft knit fabric;whereby the crotch portion provides increased moisture management and comfort to the undergarment.2. Apparatuses and associated methods of manufacturing are described that provide a particulate protective article. An example particulate protective article includes one or more structural sections that are formed of a primary material and one or more protective sections connected with the one or more structural sections so as to form an article of clothing. Typical shapewear that targets the abdominal area is often uncomfortable, because it uses methods to provide additional control to the area that also decrease the flexibility of the fabric. The shapewear garment disclosed herein includes a region configured to cover the abdominal region of a wearer. The abdominal region of the shapewear garment includes at least one dart provided in the fabric. The fabric of the shapewear garment is a high-elasticity fabric containing from about 20% to about 60% elastane. The darts in the abdominal region increase the control in the targeted abdominal area without significantly decreasing the flexibility and comfort of the high-elasticity fabric.

A unit segment of the garment structure can include two waistband regions at opposite end faces of the cylindrical garment structure, and each of the waistband regions can correspond to a different one of two nested articles.
