Техническим результатом является возможность корректировки высоты, мягкости и температурного режима изделия и упрощение такой корректировки. Технический результат достигается тем, что в подушке, состоящей из чехла и образованной чехлом внутренней полости, расположен по меньшей мере один вкладыш с наполнителем из полиэфирного волокна, причем внутренняя полость выполнена с возможностью добавления от одного до трех дополнительных вкладышей. Конструкция изделия основана на использовании внешнего чехла, состоящего из деталей, выкроенных из трехслойного стеганого полотна и бортиков, один из которых выполнен с отверстием на застежке-молнии. Основным является вкладыш из полиэфирного волокна и использование одного такого вкладыша позволяет получить плоскую подушку. An improved orthopedic head pillow enables a user to maintain correct spinal alignment while sleeping in a variety of positions. The pillow has a stuffed resilient body formed from cloth cover having a generally rectangular central aperture. For one embodiment, pillow dimensions are about 48 cm by 76 cm, with a 10 cm by 15 cm central aperture that is aligned so that its longitudinal axis is aligned with the pillow's lateral axis of symmetry. For back sleepers, the back of the head is cushioned by the edges of the aperture yet positioned at mattress level. Side sleepers can use either side portion of the pillow to the side of the aperture, with the head being centered on the side portion and the face facing either the aperture or the edge of the pillow. Stomach sleepers can place the side of the face on a downward slope adjacent the aperture.

The disclosure relates to a packaging arrangement for storage and transport of electrically adjustable beds of a modular bed system which can be dismantled into individual components, the bed system being configured to form one or more different bed types which are different in terms of width and/or length. The beds are beds of a family of beds, comprise at least an upper leg sector, a lower leg sector, a seat sector and a torso sector, and have a plurality of bed plates for carrying a mattress. The packaging arrangement is suitable for accomodating a quantity of components of a single bed of each bed type of the bed system and the quantity of the components comprises at least the plurality of bed plates, at least one cross member and at least two longitudinal members. A width B of the packaging arrangement corresponds substantially to the width of a bed plate of a bed type, a length L of the packaging arrangement corresponds substantially to the length of one or the sum of the lengths of two bed plates of a bed type, and a base area of the packaging arrangement is substantially identical for all bed types of the bed system. A height H of the packaging arrangement is given by: H≤/2, where G is a limit for length plus girth of the packaging arrangement. 2. The packaging arrangement according to claim 1 , wherein G is 130 inches.3. The packaging arrangement according to claim 1 , wherein the width B of the packaging arrangement substantially corresponds to the width of the widest of the bed plates.4. A furniture system includes a base, a first linkage and a second linkage. The base is configured to be disposed on a flat surface and to be connected to an article of furniture. The first linkage is connected to the base and configured to be connected to the article of furniture. The first linkage is configured to be actuated to cause the article of furniture to translate relative to the base. The second linkage is connected to the first linkage. The second linkage is biased into a locked state in which the second linkage prevents movement of the first linkage. The second linkage is configured to be actuated by an applied force into an unlocked state in which the second linkage allows movement of the first linkage (and the article of furniture to which the first linkage is configured to be connected).

A pillow is provided with an insert or inner pillow that is removable. Having removable insert or inner pillow enables filling of the removable inner pillow with a different filling material that is not amenable to washing. Thus the outer pillow that is in contact with a person's body and tends to accumulate dust and microbes among the fill can be washed after removal of the insert or inner pillow. The insert or inner pillow can be filled with a less expensive filling material such as synthetic fibers, viscoelastic foam, latex etc. whereas the outer pillow can have a superior quality filling material that is softer, fluffier and has better insulating properties such as down or down mixed/blended with feather, thus providing an affordable pillow with comfort and superior characteristics of down and can be laundered to maintain hygiene. The outer surface of the inner pillow may include a fluid impermeable material. 1. A pillow comprising:an outer pillow having an inner cavity, the inner cavity being accessible through an opening on at least one side of the outer pillow and the opening configured with means to close the opening; andan insert or inner pillow configured to removably fit into the inner cavity of the outer pillow when inserted through the opening.2. The invention relates to an electromotive furniture drive ( 100 ) for adjusting a movable part ( 4, 5 ) of a piece of furniture ( 1 ) by means of an output element, comprising a) at least one adjusting drive ( 7, 8 ) with respectively at least one electric motor, a speed reducing mechanism which is coupled thereto and which ensures that the output element is drivenly coupled and can be linearly displaced and/or rotatably moved, and when said output element reaches a predetermined position, said output element actuates an end switch and/or reference switch and/or switching means, b) at least one control device ( 9 ) and c) at least one control unit ( 10 ), said control device ( 9 ) comprising a positioning device for the output element provided with a control block with a counter and a recording device for evaluating impulses of a counter EMK of the at least one electric motor. Said control device ( 9 ) comprises a digital potentiometer which emits as an output value, an electric value which is proportionate to the position of said output element. The control device comprises, in a further embodiment, a monitoring device. The invention also relates to a method for monitoring a pulse width ratio of an electromotive furniture drive and a piece of furniture ( 1 ).
