The technical problem addressed is the stability of such fixing systems in order to maintain a fixed level of the object and at the same time drilling only one hole into the wall thereby avoiding the need to make various holes in order to hang and fix one painting or frame to the wall. To this effect, the invention comprises a pair of metal fittings which are shaped as a rectangular folded plate and which are couplable to each other by means of a longitudinal groove in order to reduce the swinging movements between the parts. The spikes A, B are driven into the wall, and the plate D holds the picture at the side, or supports it at the bottom, while the projection C keeps the picture from the wall. A picture frame hanger includes a member stamped of thin sheet having a thickness on the order of 0.05 and includes a lower flat depending portion arranged in a first vertical plane. At least one connecting portion or tab is provided that is horizontally offset from the depending portion and arranged in a second vertical plane parallel to the first plane. An integral bridging portion is arranged in a horizontal plane or normal to the first and second planes spaced a distance less than a depth of the upper rail. The connecting portion attaches the hanger to the upper rail rear surface. The depending portion is offset by the bridging portion to position the depending portion internally of the frame cavity spaced from the wall. The frame can be supported on a wall or surface while being spaced from the wall by only the thickness of the connecting portions.

The invention relates to a framed art hanging system for hanging pictures and other similar items such as art, photos, diplomas, posters, paintings and framed sports memorabilia on walls. The system allows the installer of a framed picture to easily hang the picture utilizing the combination of a magnetic connection and a mechanical connection. The magnetic connection is achieved by utilizing a magnet, preferably adhered to a plate which is attached to either the back of the picture frame or to the wall and a metal plate which is magnetically attracted to the magnet, the metal plate being placed on the other location (either the back of the picture frame or to the wall). Three example ways to achieve a mechanical connection are described. The first way is to place an abrasive coating on either the frame plate or the magnet plate and a deformable substance coating on the other. Framed art hanging system utilizing a magnetic connection combined with a mechanical connection

The invention relates to a framed art hanging system for hanging pictures and other similar items such as art, photos, diplomas, posters, paintings and framed sports memorabilia on walls. The system allows the installer of a framed picture to easily hang the picture utilizing the combination of a magnetic connection and a mechanical connection. Simple Center Wall Hanger

A secure, single-pivot hanger for picture frames or like objects. The invention includes a top-center alignment slot so it can quickly and accurately be placed directly over the object's, previously measured and marked, top midpoint. Adhesive on the hanger's back is used to hold the hanger in position on the object before being nailed in place. Two pre-located holes assure that fastener nails will be self-stabilized in an upright starting position and guided in a straight line as they are driven into the back of the object. Once attached, the hanger's catch lip and relief space will allow it to securely rest on a screw, anchor nail, or the like between the back of the hanging object and the vertical surface it is being suspended from. The hanger can easily and safely rotate around its single pivot point to adjust for final leveling. 1. A hanging bracket for hanging a picture frame having at least two right angled corners on a supporting structure. The bracket is a one-piece member formed of plastic having a planar base terminating with a beveled edge formed by two straight sections and an intervening arcuate section. A V-shaped column is spaced from the beveled edge by a V-shaped planar portion of the base and extends perpendicularly from the base terminating in a V-shaped top edge with two straight legs joined at a rounded corner. A pin is embedded in the rounded corner and extends outwardly beyond the straight legs of the column. The base is inserted between the back of a canvas picture and the two adjacent frame members at each corner of the picture frame with the projecting pins being pressed into the support structure to suspend the picture frame therefrom.
