The meeting or overlapping ends of the fabric when on the block may be fastened together by hooks and eyes and, to prevent undue thickening, the fabric may at these parts be woven in single ply.

The invention relates to a manually operable floor cleaning tool. I have found the most effective way to clean floors is by hand with a wet cloth. The unique design of the Bromop enables a wet cloth to be used effectively without the user having to bend or kneel to do so. Additionally, previous similar inventions such as the Swiffer are improved by incorporating a broom head and dustpan into the design, and using re-useable cleaning cloths instead of disposable cleaning wipes. Water consumption is a concern for many people throughout the world and the Bromop requires on average 95% less water to clean the same amount of square footage compared with sponge mops. A cleaning article. The cleaning article has discrete tufts of tow fibers. The discrete tufts are unequally spaced from adjacent tufts, to provide improved collection and retention of debris from a target surface. There is a need to reduce raw materials used in the manufacturing of wet mops, to reduce the weight of the wet mop which will decrease user fatigue and related injuries and to address the difficulty of attaching standard wet mops to commonly used mop handles. The improvement is a tubular headband wet mop with yarn strands on only one side of the headband, reducing the amount of unused yarn incorporated into the wet mop while not reducing floor surface coverage area. A cleaning element of stitch-bonded construction having a multi-surface operative cleaning face , the cleaning element comprising:at least one fluid absorbing layer comprising absorptive cellular material;a cover layer disposed in overlying relation to the at least one fluid absorbing layer;a backing layer of preformed loop material disposed in underlying relation to the fluid absorbing layer, the preformed loop material including a plurality of loop elements projecting away from the underside of the at least one fluid absorbing layer such that the at least one fluid absorbing layer, the cover layer and the backing layer form a stacked composite; anda plurality of stitching yarns extending in discontinuous patterned stitched relation through discrete selected zones of the stacked composite such that the plurality of stitching yarns form a patterned array of surface loop zones projecting outwardly away from the cover layer in a defined patterned arrangement across the multi-surface operative cleaning face of the cleaning element with a plurality of stitch-free zones with the cover layer forming an outer surface disposed at positions between surface loop zones across the operative cleaning face of the cleaning element.2. There is a need to reduce raw materials used in the manufacturing of wet mops, to reduce the weight of the wet mop which will decrease user fatigue and related injuries and to address the difficulty of attaching standard wet mops to commonly used mop handles. The improvement is a tubular headband wet mop with yarn strands on only one side of the headband, reducing the amount of unused yarn incorporated into the wet mop while not reducing floor surface coverage area. The tubular headband also eliminates the possibility of exposing the bottom side of the mop handle which can damage or mar the floor surface, coatings and finishes. This reduction in raw materials results in a lighter product, which reduces effort required to lift and wring out the wet mop, and reduces fatigue and injuries associated with mopping. 1. A bucket operated in coordination with the lever-type mop has an inclined surface and a straining board mounted under the inclined surface. When straining the cleaning unit, the base and the cleaning unit are put on the straining board and the rod is pivoted downward. With the abutting forces from the limiting protrusion and the inclined surface on opposite sides, the cleaning unit is squeezed.
