The stockinette has a generally tubular-shape and is made from a composite material defining a length and a width with the length being longer than the width. The stockinette defines an interior surface and an exterior surface with the tubular-shaped structure defining an open end and a closed end separated by the length. The interior and exterior surfaces are joined circumferentially to one another along substantially the entire length of the tubular-shaped structure. The interior surface is formed from a fibrous material and the overall structure is liquid impervious and circumferentially expandable from a first circumference to a second and larger circumference. Due to the materials and nature of construction, the stockinette of the present invention provides a form-fitting design which is easy to don and remove.

A folded surgical drape , comprising:a tubular axially collected sheath having a distal end and a proximal end and a lumen between said distal end and said proximal end, wherein said axially collected sheath comprising at least one distal opening axially collected into said lumen and, wherein said axially collected sheath is axially folded to form at least one valley fold surrounding said distal opening sized and shaped for insertion of the user's hands on both sides of said distal opening.2. The folded surgical drape of claim 1 , wherein said tubular axially collected sheath is at least partially transparent.3. The folded surgical drape of claim 2 , comprising at least one visible marking on said axially collected sheath near said distal opening or surrounding said distal opening claim 2 , wherein said marking is positioned inside said lumen and is visible through said at least partially transparent sheath.4. The folded surgical drape of claim 1 , comprising at least one visible marking on said axially collected sheath designed for indicating the position of said at least one valley fold or said proximal end.5. The folded surgical drape of claim 1 , wherein a length of said axially collected surgical drape is at least 50% smaller than the length of said axially collected surgical drape in an axially extended state.6. The folded surgical drape of claim 1 , wherein a volume of said axially collected surgical drape is at least 90% smaller than the volume of said axially collected surgical drape in an axially extended state.7. A medical drape is disclosed. The drape comprises a base drape portion and an insert drape portion removably attached to the base drape portion. A plurality of independently configured insert drape portions may be used, each insert being configured differently for a different procedure. A sterile femoral drape intended to be placed over a surgical patient lying on an operating table to isolate the patient during the surgical procedure, the drape comprising a top sheet of bio-impermeable material of a length and width greater than a conventional operating table such that the top sheet fully encompasses the patient and drapes over the lateral side edges and the bottom (foot) edge of the table. Femoral access holes located proximate to the patient's groin are provided to allow access to the patient's femoral artery during heart catheterizations or other surgical procedures. The drape comprises left and right arm pockets formed underneath the bio-impermeable sheet into which the patient's respective left and right arms are inserted. A medical drape has a tool-less removal feature and includes a drape material, a drape cut, an adhesive tape strip, and a scoreline. The drape material has a top side, a back side, and at least one exterior edge. The drape cut has a starting point at the exterior edge and extends completely through the thickness of the drape material. The adhesive tape strip is positioned along the length of the drape cut to overlap at least a portion of the drape material on both sides of the drape cut to initially secure the two adjoining cut edges to each other. The scoreline extends along the length of the adhesive tape strip and only partially through the thickness of the adhesive tape strip to permit easy tearing of the adhesive tape strip for separation of the two adjoining cut edges.

The isolation device of claim 2 , wherein any one of the antimicrobial agent claim 2 , the antiviral agent claim 2 , the antifungal agent claim 2 , and any combination thereof is disposed within a polymeric layer coupled to an inside and/or an outside surface of the cover.4. The isolation device of claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises:a support apparatus configured to couple with an end of an IV pole; anda sleeve configured to be deployed from the support apparatus over the IV pole.5. The isolation device of claim 4 , wherein the support apparatus comprises a cavity configured to retain the sleeve prior to deployment over the IV pole.6.
