8 з.п. ф-лы, 5 ил.

Номер: AU2017204681A1
Принадлежит: FB Rice Pty Ltd

The present invention is directed to a substrate, in particular textile material to which one or more antimicrobial and/or hydrophilic and/or stain release agents are adhered. The agent(s) is/are adhered to the substrate in such a manner that they are not released from the textile even if the textile is wetted or washed, so that the textile is reusable. Washability and/or usability of the textile are improved where one or more hydrophilic and/or stain release agents are adhered to the textile. The substrate can be used, e.g., in a reusable sanitary napkin or other hygiene product. The structure of the hygiene product is disclosed, together with a process of attaching the different layers of the hygiene product together by ultrasonic welding. The invention further relates to a method of finishing a substrate by applying and binding antimicrobial and/or hydrophilic and/or stain release agents to the substrate so that the agents are essentially irreversibly adhered to the finished substrate ...

The present invention is generally directed to webs, components, composites, and strands comprising re-activatable adhesive compositions, as well as health-and-hygiene products employing such webs, components, composites, and strands. By inputting energy to the web, component, composite, or strand (including, for example, an elastic web, component, composite, or strand) comprising a re-activatable adhesive composition, the adhesive is activated (i.e., rendered tacky) so that it can be used to join or adhere the web, component, composite, or strand to another material (or another location on the same web, component, composite, or strand). Generally, energy will be inputted to the adhesive in the form of infrared heat, heat, or ultrasonic energy, although any energy form may be used, so long as the energy is capable of activating the adhesive. Prior to activation, webs, components, composites, and strands comprising such re-activatable adhesives are convenient to handle because the adhesive ...

The sheet member may be a laminated sheet of plastic film and nonwoven fabric, stretching of the sheet member is suppressed and it is possible to easily bring the absorbent body in close contact with the crotch region of the wearer when putting the disposable diaper on the wearer. The sheet member may also be formed of nonwoven fabric, a fiber orientation of nonwoven fabric on the sheet member then being orthogonal to the edges of end portions of the outer covering sheet in the longitudinal direction, to suppress longitudinal stretching of the sheet member.

The present disclosure relates to methods for manufacturing absorbent articles, and in particular, methods for making pre-fastened refastenable pant diapers. Aspects of the methods according to the present disclosure relate to the fabrication of refastenable pant diapers wherein discrete chassis are advanced in a machine direction such that the lateral axis is parallel with the machine direction. First side panels are then refastenably connected with the first waist region, and second side panels are permanently connected the second waist regions of the discrete chassis. The chassis are connected with discrete lengths of side panel material and/or connection zone material. The chassis are then folded, and the first and second side panels are subsequently bonded together. The article is then subjected to knife cut at or adjacent the bonded regions to create discrete, pre-fastened refastenable pant diapers. 1. A process for assembling disposable pre-fastened pant diapers , each pant diaper comprising a chassis having a first waist region longitudinally opposed to a second waist region , and having a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis , the chassis comprising: a topsheet , a backsheet , and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet , each pant diaper further comprising laterally opposed first side panels refastenably connected with the first waist region; and laterally opposed second side panels permanently connected with the second waist region and permanently connected with corresponding first side panels to form a waist opening , the process comprising the steps of:advancing a first continuous web having a first surface and an opposing second surface in a machine direction wherein fastener components are connected with the first surface;cutting the first continuous web into first discrete patches, each first patch having a leading end region, a trailing end region, and a central region disposed between the leading and trailing end regions, ...
