A puck system achieves adjustable stance in three degrees of freedom—foot placement, foot angulation, and crosswise centering—on a snow gliding board. The snowboard binding of claim 1 , wherein the first magnetic material extends beyond the ankle buckle to expose the first magnetic material to apply a force that pulls on the ferromagnetic material of the ankle ladder prior to inserting the ankle ladder into the ankle buckle.3. The disclosure is directed to a spacer block for elevating a boot of a rider of a snowboard. Due to the elevation of the boot above the snowboard, the boot drag of the rider is reduced. The spacer block is installed between the snowboard and a binding system of the snowboard that secures the rider's feet to the snowboard. A rotatable sports-board binding adapter mounts to a sports board and allows a user to adjust an angle of one foot relative to the sports board. The adapter includes a base plate forming a series of lock holes and at least one pocket that accommodates a low-friction puck. A rotatable plate connects to the base plate and includes a locking mechanism that can engage with any one of the lock holes to prevent rotation of the rotatable plate. When the low-friction puck is inserted into the pocket, the puck is translatable so that it contacts the rotatable plate, advantageously preventing the rotatable plate and base plate from directly contacting each other while providing a low-friction surface that enables the rotatable plate to easily rotate with respect to the base plate. A rotatable snowboard binding system allows the front binding to rotate from the riding mode to the skating mode freely, so that a rider can skate and rotate back to the riding mode.
