Hydraulic circuit and method for controlling a gyratory cone crusher

Номер: US20130001337A1
Принадлежит: Sandvik Intellectual Property AB

The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a gyratory cone crusher as well as a hydraulic circuit suitable for carrying out the method. A crusher comprises an inner crusher shell and an outer crusher shell, which define a crusher gap, and the crusher gap size is maintained by means of a hydraulic cylinder, and, in case the hydraulic liquid pressure exceeds a pressure threshold, hydraulic liquid is evacuated from the cylinder to increase the crusher gap size. The method involves carrying out detection of a tramp iron processing condition, implying that matter which the crusher cannot process has enter the gap. If such a condition is detected, the pressure threshold is lowered during a period of time. This means that the crusher gap is opened quicker, such that the matter that cannot be crushed is removed from the crusher, which is thereby protected from potentially detrimental impacts.

A process applicable to different lithologies of phosphate ore with siliceous-carbonated matrix from igneous or sedimentary origin rocks includes ore preparation by comminution through crushing, grinding, and de-sliming, prior to apatite flotation. During flotation, ground and de-slimed ore pulp with high concentration of solids, above 40%, is initially conditioned with depressant reagent, e.g., a vegetable starch gelatinized with sodium hydroxide solution, and conditioning with collector reagent (sulphosuccinate or sulphosuccinamate). This conditioned pulp floats apatite in a circuit with rougher, scavenger, cleaner and recleaner flotation steps. COgas can be added in all or some flotation steps to a bubble generation system. The synthetic apatite collector provides selective flotation of apatite and carbonates from silicates and other gangue minerals in the rougher and scavenger flotation steps, while the combination of effects of the synthetic collector with COgas provides selective apatite flotation from the carbonates in the cleaner and recleaner steps. 1. The motor control may limit the maximally allowed load of the motor to a predetermined load limit value. In case the motor reaches the maximally allowed load limit value, the load limit value may be increased for a predetermined time, either manually or automatically. In this way a short overload does not lead to a paper jam and the shredder does not have to be reversed, which may cause a paper mess in the workplace. The motor may be a direct current motor and/or a series motor, so that the load limit value may be defined by a maximally allowable motor current.

SAFETY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUTTING MACHINE

Номер: US20160016178A1
Принадлежит:

A safety system prevents cutting machine operators from being accidentally carried through the infeed chute into the machine's cutting mechanism. An operator wears a safety device on his wrist and/or ankle and a sensor array mounts on opposing sides of the cutting machine's infeed chute. The sensor array elements are wound in opposite directions and connect in series opposing. The magnetic field of the safety device induces a current in the sensor array as it moves in the proximity of the sensor array. The safety system generates a signal which is proportional to the sum of the induced currents. When the signal exceeds a threshold, the safety system shuts off power to the feed mechanism and/or the cutting blades of the cutting machine, preventing injury to the operator.
