The present invention relates to an air purification system for a vehicle painting booth, capable of purifying impurities contained in polluted air by a moisture purification method and purifying the polluted air of an indoor space including an indoor workplace such as a vehicle painting booth using an oxidation catalyst. More specifically, the air purification system for a vehicle painting booth includes: a main body accommodating multiple purification units; an air inlet formed on one side of the main body and enabling the air polluted to flow into the purification units; and an air exhaust port formed on the other side of the main body and discharging the air purified by the purification units. The multiple purification units individually have a regeneration pipe and selectively perform a purification function or a regenerating function. Also, the multiple purification units perform a cooling function of the purified air heated when performing the purification function. The multiple purification units individually have an inlet unit and an outlet unit. A heatable filter is installed at an adjacent position to the inlet unit. Multiple catalyst filters are installed in the longitudinal direction at fixed intervals at the position adjacent to the outlet end and are separated at fixed intervals from the heatable filter. When there are three multiple purification units, the purification function and the regeneration function are individually performed in a number ratio of 1:2 or 2:1. A suction valve is installed in the inlet unit, and an exhaust valve is installed in the outlet unit. The inlet unit and the outlet unit are connected by the regeneration pipe. A circulation valve and a circulation fan are individually installed in the regeneration pipe. A heat exchanger is installed in an exhaust pipe connected to the outlet unit and discharges the air by cooling the air heated while being purified by the catalyst filter.

A filtering apparatus having a housing with lateral, upstream and downstream walls, and a top plate disposed at a significant angle to incoming overspray air to accelerate and guide the particulate-laden air. The accumulation well is made at the upper edge area of the inlet port, it is formed continuously in the longitudinal direction of the inlet port. The accumulation port has the profile opening downwards when observed from the longitudinal direction of the inlet port. The primer nozzle is placed in the position of the inlet port in its longitudinal direction to output the primer and gas carrier in the direction towards the inner deep surface of the accumulation well. The vacuum source creates a negative pressure within the clean air chamber to draw air from the housing interior to vent its interior. The cartridge filter is automatically cleaned of collected particulate powder material by a blow back device mounted in the clean air chamber.

본 발명은 도장대상물의 위치로 부스가 이동하여 도장대상물의 도장이 이루어지도록 작업공간을 형성하는 이동식 도장 집진 부스에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 이동식 도장 집진 부스는 내부에 도장공간이 형성될 수 있도록 도장대상물이 인입 가능하게 형성되어 있는 하우징과, 상기 하우징의 하부에 설치되어 상기 하우징을 이동 가능하게 지지하는 대차유닛과, 상기 도장공간 내부에서 발생하는 분진 또는 도료를 여과하여 배출하는 여과유닛을 구비한다. 상기 하우징은 일측에 상기 도장공간으로 도장대상물이 진입할 수 있도록 개구부가 형성되어 있으며, 도장작업 중 상기 도장공간이 외부와 구획될 수 있도록 상기 개구부를 개폐하는 개폐부를 구비하며, 상기 대차유닛은 상기 하우징의 하부에 설치되는 지지부와, 상기 하우징의 하부에 상기 하우징의 이동경로를 가이드하도록 설치된 가이드레일을 따라 회전구동하도록 상기 지지부에 회전 가능하게 설치된 바퀴부재를 포함하며, 상기 하우징의 하부에 설치되는 복수개의 대차유닛 중 적어도 하나의 대차유닛에는 상기 바퀴부재와 감속기를 통해 연결되어 상기 바퀴부재를 회전구동시키는 구동모터가 마련되는 것이 바람직하다. A filter panel to be installed between a suction enclosure and e.g. a paint spraying cubicle to filter the air from the cubicle is made from two sheets of plain cardboard parallel to one another with a space between them which is filled with a stack of corrugated cardboard. The sheets of plain cardboard have openings in them but the openings in one sheet are not opposite those in the other. The stack of corrugated cardboard is formed by folding a sheet of corrugated cardboard a number of times. The corrugated cardboard is cut by a number of equally spaced incisions across the corrugations. The area of the stack is less than that of the outer sheets of plain cardboard and a frame is fitted into the peripheral space so formed and made air tight with grease. The filter panel is simple and cheap and is more efficient in avoiding the blocking of suction pipes with paint which occurs with existing units.

A spray booth for use within a building has a metal housing that defines a partially enclosed spray zone in which a worker operates spray equipment. The spraying operation places particulates and volatiles into the air of the spray zone. A main airflow producer draws a contaminated airflow from the spray zone through a large air intake port into an air intake plenum within the housing. A conventional particulate filter mounted in the air intake port removes droplets of paint or other coating compositions from the incoming airflow. The airflow is then directed through a filter in the air intake plenum that removes most, but not all, volatiles. Most of the fully-filtered airflow is discharged back into the spray zone but a small portion is forced by an auxiliary airflow producer to points external to the building. This causes an equal flow of fresh replacement air to be drawn into the spray zone from the interior of the building and ultimately from outdoors. Volatiles in the spray zone are reduced to acceptable levels while heating and cooling costs necessitated by replacement air flows are significantly reduced.

According to the invention, the collecting device (15) and a disposal device (25) for the collecting bodies (61) laden with overspray are spatially brought together in an apparatus (50). The collecting bodies (61) can be moved through the air stream continuously or intermittently by a circulating conveying system (60). The conveying system (60) also leads the collecting bodies (61) through the disposal device (25), so that it is not necessary for the collecting bodies (61) to be transported away to some other location.

A powder spray booth for use in the electrostatic coating of articles is disclosed. The spray booth is of a basically symmetrical configuration allowing the spray coating of articles passing therethrough on a conveyor from either side thereof. At each end of the spray booth and positioned at a lower elevation than the spray region is an exhaust blower which may be effectively coupled to a powder cart located therebetween and below the spray region for the automatic recovery of the overspray. The powder carts are portable and when in a cooperative position with respect to the spray booth, include self-cleaning filters and automatic recovery and recirculation of the overspray. A plurality of powder carts may be used to form a sort of magazine to provide very fast color change capability. The spray booth itself may also be mounted on rail-like members so as to readily movable between different positions in a conveyor line or different conveyor lines according to the needs at the particular time. Various other aspects of the invention are disclosed.
