Renewal of tree tissue with trehalose or trehalose-6-phosphate has been documented to begin as soon as 72 hours after exogenous application to the dying tree. The tissue renewal continues with near complete renewal of the leaf canopy, development of fruiting buds, followed by flower development and then development of the flowers into abundant and healthy fruits. Much of what appeared to be dead wood tissue could be covered with healthy new leaves within 2 to 4 months after application. Addition of defined hormones to the soil application of trehalose or trehalose-6-phosphate further enhanced development of new canopy and root tissue.

The invention proposes a shower head, in particular for showers that are fixed in position, for example an overhead shower. The shower head has various options for the water to exit the jet disk. A switching device is provided to engage these different options individually or in combination. This may function in a way known as such with the use of sloping surfaces that slide along one another. The jet disk itself serves to actuate the switching device, and pressure is exerted by the user in the direction opposite that in which the water jets exit.

An apparatus for rinsing inverted chemical containers includes two main assemblies, namely a gravity flow valve assembly and a rinse adapter assembly. The gravity flow assembly is inserted into the throat of the container. The rinse adapter assembly is detachably secured to the throat of the inverted container. When the rinse adapter assembly is attached to the throat of the container, the rinse tube of the rinse adapter assembly extends upwardly through the gravity flow valve assembly and into the interior of the container. Rinsing fluid, such as water, is supplied to the rinse tube which sprays the rinsing fluid onto the interior of the container to rinse the chemical residue from the interior of the container. The invention relates to a water-saving spherical shower head. Due to its operation, it only requires a minimal expenditure of 600 millilitres of water per minute, and is capable of vertically generating a soft, dense curtain of rain, produced by fine lines of water that form concentric parabolas with various ranges, generated by a novel system of micro-conduits arranged in various circumferences, oriented at various firing angles and executed perpendicularly on the surface of a hollow hemisphere. The head is characterised in that it produces a soft, dense curtain of rain, with a pressure of 60 cm of water. With an expenditure of 600 millilitres per minute, the curtain of rain covers a surface area of 154 cm2 at a distance of 5 cm, and opens up to a diameter of 14 cm. The shower head is inadequate for expenditures of more than 600 millilitres per minute.
