Variable rate sprayer system and method of variably applying agrochemicals

Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for controlling a variable-rate sprayer for precision agriculture. Highly efficient digital image processing enables rapid and reliable control of the variable rate sprayer. In one embodiment, image processing uses only a subset of luminance, hue, saturation and intensity textural features to provide rapid image recognition. In another embodiment, an image is decomposed into RGB components and a G is ratio determined. For example, the textural method is useful in growing season where colour differentiation is difficult. The G ratio method is useful in early spring and late fall where colour differentiation is possible. These rapid computationally light methods enable a mobile sprayer system to identify crop or field conditions in real-time and to dispense an appropriate amount of agrochemical in a specific section of the sprayer boom where the target has been detected as the mobile sprayer advances.

A manually operable spray gun which provides a variable spray pattern of liquid passing through the gun from a source of pressurized liquid. A valve spool is reciprocally movable in opposite directions by a pivotally mounted trigger. One spool end has a valve which closes flow through the spool; the other spool end is a flow control element having a flow control surface. The spool can be moved from a position where the valve controlling the flow into the spool is closed to a position where the valve is open and the spacing between the flow control element and the nozzle is varied. By varying this spacing, liquid flow can be varied from flowing directly to a nozzle orifice to flowing along the interior conical surface of the nozzle. The diameter of the conical pattern may be varied by changing the spacing between the flow control element and the nozzle.

A finger-operated switch is revealed. The finger-operated switch includes a main body and a switch. The main body includes an intake channel, a turning channel and an outlet channel connected sequentially. On end of the outlet channel near the turning channel is arranged with an outlet and mounted with a waterproof gasket. The switch including a rotating shaft and a waterproof spacer is set on the rotating shaft. There is a certain distance between the turning channel and the rotating shaft mounted therein. The waterproof spacer is floatable in and moving synchronously with the rotating shaft. While adjusting the rotating shaft, the waterproof spacer is driven to close or open the outlet of the waterproof gasket. When the outlet is closed, a pushing force is produced toward the outlet because water pressure in the turning channel presses the waterproof spacer. A watertight effect is achieved.

This invention relates to control of obnoxious odors from toilet bowl by fogging nozzles. This is accomplished by mounting fogging nozzles on an independent insert installed under the toilet seat on common mounting holes. An intelligent spray nozzle, comprising an input pressure sensor, a flow rate sensor, a flow modulator, a nozzle pressure sensor, a linear actuator, and an output orifice modulator, wherein an input pressure read from the input pressure sensor and a flow rate read from the flow rate sensor are used as inputs by the flow modulator to drive the at least one linear actuator to control an output spray rate from the intelligent spray nozzle, and wherein a nozzle pressure read from the nozzle pressure sensor is used as feedback for the output orifice modulator, wherein an output orifice is modified by the output orifice modulator to achieve optimal output spray. 1. An electrically-actuated variable pressure control system for use with flow-controlled liquid application systems. Direct acting solenoid valves are pulsed at varying frequencies and duty cycles 0000 change the resistance to flow encountered by the flow-controlled liquid application system. This pulsing solenoid valve technique preserves a high degree of accuracy and uniformity through a wide range of pressure control. This wide range of pressure control indirectly allows the flow-controlled liquid application system to operate over a wider range of flow control, yielding indirect benefits to performance and productivity. When the solenoid valves are attached to pressure-atomization spray nozzles, control over spray pattern and droplet size is further achieved.

Agricultural detection device, having a sensor unit, an evaluation unit and a control unit. The sensor unit includes a first sensor with a first directivity and is configured to emit a first transmission signal and to receive a first reflection signal. The first sensor has a second directivity and emits a second sensor signal with the second directivity and receives a second reflection signal, or the sensor unit has a second sensor with a second directivity arranged adjacent to the first sensor for emitting the second transmission signal and for receiving the second reflection signal. The evaluation unit is configured to ascertain at least the structure of plants and a height value from the first reflection signal and the second reflection signal. 1. An agricultural detection device comprising:a sensor unit comprising a first sensor with a first directivity, the first sensor being configured to emit a first transmission signal and to receive a first reflection signal;an evaluation unit; anda control unit,wherein the first sensor has a second directivity and emits a second sensor signal with the second directivity and receives a second reflection signal, or the sensor unit comprises a second sensor arranged adjacent to the first sensor with a second directivity for emitting the second transmission signal and for receiving the second reflection signal,wherein the first directivity is smaller in width than the second directivity,wherein the control unit switches between the first directivity and the second directivity andwherein the evaluation unit ascertains at least the structure of plants and a height value from the first reflection signal and the second reflection signal.2. The agricultural detection device according to claim 1 , wherein the first sensor is an ultrasonic sensor.3.
