A silane-grafted polyolefin composition is disclosed, and includes a desired reduced specific weight material. The composition finds application in a wide array of uses, and in particular automotive and uses such as weatherstrips, where this composition is used in place of conventional materials such as TPV and EPDM rubber formulations. 1. A composition for the formation of an extruded and/or molded article the composition comprising:{'sup': 3', '3, 'a silane-grafted polyolefin component having a density of from about 0.84 g/cmto about 0.96 g/cm; and'}one or more additives selected from the group consisting of polypropylenes, thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), olefinic block copolymers, ethylene propylene diene terpolymers (EPDM), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers, ethylene n-butyl acrylate copolymers, and ethylene methacrylate copolymers;wherein the polyolefin is selected from the group consisting of a blend of propylene/α-olefin copolymer with an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer, and a propylene/α-olefin copolymer.2. The composition of wherein the composition is in the form of extruded pellets or extruded pillows.3. The composition of claim 1 , further comprising one or more fillers selected from the group consisting of antistatic agents claim 1 , dyes claim 1 , pigments claim 1 , UV light absorbers claim 1 , nucleating agents claim 1 , fillers claim 1 , slip agents claim 1 , plasticizers claim 1 , fire retardants claim 1 , lubricants claim 1 , processing aides claim 1 , smoke inhibitors claim 1 , anti-blocking agents claim 1 , and viscosity control agents.4.
