The support portion comprises a thermoplastic material and the reinforcing composite layer comprises a polymeric material impregnating a plurality of fibers. The polymeric material of the reinforcing composite layer is integrated with the thermoplastic of the support portion. A method of forming the composite component includes placing the composite layer into a mold, heating the thermoplastic material to a molten state, and disposing the thermoplastic material in the molten state into contact with the composite layer. The method further includes promoting interaction between the thermoplastic material and the polymeric material to integrate the support portion and the reinforcing composite layer. The thermoplastic material supports the reinforcing composite layer and the reinforcing composite layer reinforces the thermoplastic material to prevent failure when subjected to a load.

A seat core material of the present invention is a seat core material for vehicle including: a thermoplastic resin expanded bead article; and a frame member embedded in a peripheral edge portion of the expanded bead article. The expanded bead article has two or more lightening parts in an area from a center portion as seen in a front-back direction to a rear side. A through or non-through slit is provided in a continuous part between the lightening parts or an area in front of the continuous part over a distance of 100 mm or less along a vehicle-width direction of the expanded bead article. The slit is closed at both longitudinal ends. 1. A seat core material for vehicle comprising:a thermoplastic resin expanded bead article; anda frame member embedded in a peripheral edge portion of the expanded bead article, whereinthe expanded bead article has two or more lightening parts in an area from a center portion as seen in a front-back direction to a rear side,a through or non-through slit is provided in a continuous part between the lightening parts or an area in front of the continuous part over a distance of 100 mm or less along a vehicle-width direction of the expanded bead article, andthe slit is closed at both longitudinal ends.2. A vehicle seat device comprising a seat cushion disposed on a floor of a vehicle , a seat back linked to a rear end part of the seat cushion , and a headrest fitted to an upper end part of the seat back , a vibration system comprising the seat back and the headrest being equipped with a dynamic damper ,wherein the dynamic damper comprises an elastic member that is embedded within a cushion member of the vibration system, and a weight embedded in the elastic member,the weight has a center of gravity thereof set to a position offset to at least one side from a center of the cushion member in an up-and-down direction of a seat, andthe weight has an asymmetric shape in at least one of a lateral direction and an up-and-down direction.2. The vehicle seat device according to claim 1 , whereinthe dynamic damper is disposed so that part of the cushion member is present between the elastic member and a frame of the vibration system.3. The vehicle seat device according to claim 2 , whereinthe dynamic damper is embedded in the cushion member of the headrest so that the center of gravity of the weight of the dynamic damper is present above a center in an up-and-down direction of the headrest.4. A seat assembly is provided with a seat back support member with a primary substrate received upon an upper cross member and a pair of side members of a seat back frame to support a back of an occupant. A pair of receptacles is formed through the primary substrate to receive a pair of posts that extend from the upper cross member of the seat back frame. A secondary substrate extends from the primary substrate to support a head of the occupant. A method of assembling a seat assembly determines whether the seat assembly comprises one of an adjustable head restraint assembly and an integrated head restraint. The adjustable head restraint assembly is assembled upon the pair of posts in response or a seat back support member with a pair of apertures formed therethrough is assembled upon the upper cross member with the pair of posts received in the pair of apertures. 1. Provided is a seat which comprises: a seat frame constituting a framework for a seat cushion or seat back; a synthetic resin hook member having a locking portion locked to a frame member as a part of the seat frame; a stretchable planar elastic body attached to the hook member locked to the frame member so as to be mounted to the seat frame in a tensioned state; and an anti-expansion mechanism for avoiding a situation where the hook member is expanded and thereby the hook member is disengaged from the frame member. 1.
