The invention concerns equipment for use at a carwash. The equipment can be used to wash any vehicle, as well as boats (on trailers) and anything else that can be brought into its vicinity. The equipment comprises a wash stand incorporating a basin sized to receive a car washing sponge. The equipment has an inlet valve to fill the basin, an outlet valve to empty the basin, and a control system to perform a wash sequence as follows: closing the outlet valve; opening the inlet valve to selectively fill the basin with water or a mixture of water and cleaning agent; then, periodically opening the inlet valve to top up the basin with water or a mixture of water and cleaning agent; finally, opening the outlet valve to empty the basin. All the steps of the wash sequence are performed according to a predetermined timing schedule.

The invention in one example includes a vehicle washing apparatus comprising a conveyor system to move a vehicle along a path, and a bridge assembly supported above a vehicle and moveable along the length thereof. At least one trolley assembly is operatively supported by the bridge assembly and is moveable in a direction generally transverse to the movement of the bridge assembly. At least one cleaning arm assembly for delivering cleaning fluid to or for brushing the surface of a vehicle is operatively supported by the at least one trolley assembly or bridge. The cleaning arm assembly is moveable with the bridge assembly along the length of the vehicle, and transversely with the at least one trolley assembly to adjust the location of the cleaning arm relative to the vehicle, wherein the bridge assembly moves in association with movement of the vehicle to position the cleaning arm assembly adjacent at least a portion of the front, sides and rear of the vehicle as it moves along the path. The present invention relates to an apparatus which converts cold air compressed through an air compressor into heated compressed air to store the heated compressed air, and then automatically injects the heated compressed air at set time intervals to prevent ice formation or freezing and bursting in a do-it-yourself car wash or the like. According to the present invention, the automatic injection device for heated compressed air for freezing and bursting prevention rapidly heats compressed cold air by an air heater to convert the cold air into heated compressed air to prevent ice formation or freezing and bursting of a high-pressure injection pipe or a detergent water discharge drainage pipe used in a do-it-yourself car wash or the like in cold weather, and then automatically injects the heated compressed air at set time intervals while storing the heated compressed air in a storage tank at all times. Also, the apparatus of the present invention is constructed to be electrically and mechanically operated in a dual parallel manner with conventional water supply-whipping apparatuses and prevents ice formation or freezing and bursting in a do-it-yourself car wash or the like.

According to the present invention, the cart washing apparatus has an effect of providing cleanliness for users using a cart in a related place by solving the sanitary problem of the users using the cart by quickly washing a plurality of transport carts at the same time.
