A bottle packaging for shipment includes a bottom tray, and a top tray made of molded pulp fiber, such as newspaper pulp, and a cardboard partition support structure disposed between the trays. Cavities formed in the bottom and top trays are arranged to engage both ends of a bottle and include crushable elements that can axially engage each bottle. The support partition may be made of corrugated cardboard material and be arranged such that the cardboard flutes provide support for loads imparted to the sides of the carton when the carton is laying on its side. The partition forms a void surrounding each bottle in the area of its labels. In this way, structural support and cushioning can be provided to the packaged bottles from all directions.

The present invention concerns a gripping head for packages of a wedge-like form. The invention also concerns a method of gripping a group of packages and transferring them into a box. The gripping head has side steering plates and pressure finger plates on two opposite sides. At one end of the gripping head a stop plate is arranged between the side steering plates and the pressure finger plates, while the opposite end is open. The side steering plates each has a number of steering plates and fingers of the pressure finger plates are placed on either side of the steering plates, which fingers are received in notches of the side steering plate. The fingers have folded lower ends. The side steering plates and the pressure finger plates are arranged mutually moveable bringing the folded lower ends of the fingers into and out of a position below the side steering plates.

A method of packaging a plurality of preformed flower pot covers , each preformed flower pot cover having a base with a lower end and an open upper end with an object opening extending therethrough for receiving the flower pot and further having a decorative skirt extending outwardly from the upper end of the base , the method comprising the steps of:forming at least one stack of preformed flower pot covers such that the preformed flower pot covers of the stack are nested within one another; andsupporting the at least one stack of preformed flower pot covers in an upright position on a portable platform, the portable platform having at least one cover receiving recess formed therein or supported thereon in which at least a portion of the base of at least one preformed flower pot cover in the at least one stack of preformed flower pot covers is disposed, whereby an area surrounding the at least one cover receiving recess comes into contact with a portion of the decorative skirt of the at least one preformed flower pot cover disposed therein, thereby supporting the at least one stack of preformed flower pot covers in an upright position on the portable platform.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one preformed flower pot cover disposed in the at least one cover receiving recess is the bottom preformed flower pot cover in the at least one stack of preformed flower pot covers.3. A system for locating goods stored in a storage area includes a computer, radio frequency transceivers and modular hangers. Ordered goods are placed in storage units that each have addresses at a central filling center. A compact package for making an orthopedic cast is made from a fabric folded and compressed, having an initial over-all surface area, that, when saturated with water, expands to final over-all surface area that is larger by a factor greater than 50 than the initial over-all surface area. A package comprising:a carton having a front wall, said front wall defining an aperture therein, andan insert sized and shaped to fit inside said carton, said insert having a front wall and a window projecting outwardly from said front wall of said insert,wherein said window projects through said aperture when said insert is inserted into said carton.2. The package of claim 1 , wherein an object contained inside said insert is displayed through said window.3. The package of claim 2 , wherein said insert includes a raised panel projecting outwardly from said front wall of said insert proximate said window such that said window projects outwardly from said raised panel.4. The package of claim 3 , wherein said object is disposed within said raised panel.5. The package of claim 4 , further comprising nail polish appliqués positioned in said insert claim 4 , said object being a two-dimensional swatch that displays a design corresponding to a design of said nail polish appliqués.6.
