The bulk transport bag has an opening at the top and closed at the bottom. It has four sides which are reinforced with a rigid stiffening in the shape of a crisscross. Along the two longest sides at the top of the bag, there are sleeves which have many rows of stitching attaching them to the sides of the bag. These sleeves enable the easy access of forklift tynes to slide through and pickup the bag. The bulk transport bag also has two sleeves which are attached to the bottom of the bag. These sleeves have many rows of stitching to keep the sleeves secure. These bottom sleeves protrude from the edge of both ends of the bag. The bottom sleeves are also attached to the side of the bag with one row of stitching. The bulk transport bag eliminates the need or use of pallets.

A flexible film pouch includes an aperture to access its contents, and a closure means such as a re-sealable spout is applied over the aperture to permit sealed storage of the contents after opening. The closure means is attached to the flexible film pouch by means of a patch that is bonded to the inside of the pouch adjacent to the aperture. The patch is selected to have a mating surface that bonds with the inner surface of the pouch, where such bonding is preferably conducted by ultrasonic welding or adhesive bonding. The patch itself may have a hole that permits access to the contents of the pouch, or the closure means may include a cutting surface that tears a portion of the patch to permit access.

The present invention is directed to a method forming a bottom-gusseted package, wherein each package includes an inwardly-extending, pleat-like gusset at the bottom of the package. To permit heat-sealing formation of each package, the sleeve from which each gusset is formed comprises a lamination of two differing polymeric materials, so that only an exterior surface of each sleeve exhibits the desired heat-sealing characteristics. To facilitate package formation, the sleeves from which the bottom gussets are formed are maintained in a temporarily closed or sealed configuration during package formation by providing a preferably frangible bond or seal at the edge of each sleeve. The shrink film utilizes a water soluble layer covering an adhesive layer. The invention relates to a method for temporarily increasing the resistance to vertical compression of a bag for transporting and holding liquids and quasi-liquids, intended for a bag having the general shape of a cube and including receptacles of each of the corners thereof. The method consists in choosing four inflatable cushioning pouches for each bag, said pouches being elongate and having length, width and extension dimensions corresponding to the length, width and internal volume of the receptacles in the bag. Next, the four cushioning pouches are introduced into the four receptacles and are subsequently inflated, thereby trapping same in a vertical position in which they can resist compression along the vertical axis thereof. A bottom-gusseted package comprises a package body, and a bottom gusset positioned transversely of a longitudinal axis of the package body. Formation of the bottom-gusseted package is effected by positioning individual sleeves transversely of the longitudinal axis of a flexible web which forms the package body. Tape elements are applied in overlapping relationship to opposite ends of each individual sleeve. During package formation, the flexible web is cut to form individual packages, and each individual sleeve can be cut to form a bottom gusset in one package, and a top sleeve portion in an adjacent package. A top sleeve portion of the package body can be configured to include a reclosable fastener. A yard debris bag support device supports a yard debris bag in an open position. The device includes a yard debris bag and a plurality of panels. Each of the panels has opposed laterals sides. The laterals sides of adjacently positioned panels are pivotally coupled together wherein the panels form a series of the panels foldable into a closed geometric shape having an open top side and an open bottom side.
