Сущность изобретения: способ заключается в диазотировании 4-нитроанилин-2-сульфокислоты с последующим сочетанием с фенил-гамма-кислотой при рН 0,6 - 0,8 или 2 - 3. Предлагаемый способ позволяет получить ряд красителей из одних и тех же промежуточных продуктов: при рН 0,6 - 0,8 сочетание проходит в орто-положение к фениламиногруппе фенил-гамма-кислоты с образованием красителя синего цвета, который при крашении в зависимости от концентрации образует цветы серые или черные; при рН 2 - 3 сочетание проходит в орто-положение к оксигруппе фенил-гамма-кислоты с образованием красителя коричневого цвета, аналогичного по колористическим свойствам красителю кислотному коричневому К. 1 табл.

Disclosed is a yellow monoazo pigment which is obtained by diazotization of anthranilic acid, coupling of the diazonium compound with 1-(3'-sulphophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone and subsequent laking of the coupling product to a strontium salt. The pigment is characterized by formula (I). The new pigment has excellent heat stability and bleed fastness and very high color strength. It is suitable for pigmenting of plastics, inks and coatings, and particularly suitable for pigmenting of plastics.

According to the coupling process of the invention, the molar ratio of coupling component and diazonium component breaks the prior status that the over dose of diazonium component is not more than 5 percent; moreover, the dose of diazonium component is increased to 10 to 15 percent. Because the dose of diazonium componentis increased, the residue in reactants is reduced; therefore, the residue grade is increased from lower than a primary grade to a third grade as compared with a grey card, thereby improving the application performance of dye.
