The bench contains a bowl having an outlet which connects to a tank in the stowage compartment. A valve on the tank controls passage between the bowl and the tank. The valve is itself operated from a knob on the bench through a coupling mechanism. Waste water from the bowl is collected in the tank and is disposed of by sliding the tank out of the stowage compartment through an opening in the RV's sidewall and carrying the tank to a suitable disposal site. The tank incorporates a rotatable pourspout and vent valve to facilitate pouring waste contents out of the tank. A jet pump macerator pump sewage handling system which provides a unique waste control system for use in mobile units such as passenger trains and ships in which multiple toilets are connected to a transfer manifold pipe which communicates with a non-clogging jet pump which is formed with a venturi and through which liquid material is driven by a macerator pump. waste material from the toilets is drawn by the jet pump through the transfer manifold pipe and discharged into the retention tank. The macerator pump withdraws material from the retention tank, grinds it and discharges it back into the retention tank. The macerator pump has a self-cleaning feature in that it reverses and cleans itself whenever a loss in discharge pressure due to excessive solids loading is sensed. The transfer manifold pipe is virtually free from clogging due to the action of an air induction valve which keeps waste material in the manifold pipe moving without allowing it to accumulate.

One embodiment of the system provides a two-stage flush that uses a transient tank in between the toilet bowl and the main aircraft waste tank, which reduces the noise level associated with the flush process because a lesser vacuum is demanded for the first stage of the flush. Embodiments of the system further capture grey water from a sink basin in a reservoir and use that water in the toilet flush process. There is further provided a lavatory odor removal system option that is activated during the second stage of the flush. 1. A two-stage flush system for use in connection with a vacuum toilet , wherein the vacuum toilet is configured to be plumbed in-line with a main waste line that leads to a main waste holding tank , comprising:(a) a vacuum toilet bowl,(b) a transient waste tank plumbed in-line between the vacuum toilet bowl and the main waste holding tank,(c) a first valve positioned between the vacuum toilet bowl and the transient waste tank; and(d) a second valve positioned between the transient waste tank and the main waste line.2. This toilet, when activated, releases a retractable urinal that pivots inside the toilet bowl, covering the water visible in the bowl, allowing liquid waste to flow through the retractable urinal through a flexible hose which connects directly to the drain, avoiding the siphon and without the need to apply a discharge of water. In case that a water discharge is wanted to use in the retractable urinal, it is possible, and it is a significantly less amount than that used for solid waste, as it is only the discharge of water necessary to wash the walls of the retractable urinal, and not the 4.2 liters needed to activate the toilet siphon.

A self-contained, oil flush medium toilet system is provided having a largely rectangular enclosure that separates the flush medium from collected waste and preprocesses the waste for subsequent removal. The device requires no connection to sewage or water lines, and can be installed with only electrical connections for continual operation. Waste is first received through a toilet bowl, whereafter it is consumed by the oil and falls under the surface thereof. The waste is then circulated below the oil, whereby it is continually aerated to promote aerobic digestion of the waste until it reaches a certain volume, where the processed waste exits the enclosure for further processing or storage. The oil flush medium is pumped through a particulate and carbon filter to maintain its condition, wherein the oil is immiscible with the waste to first consume it and remain above the waste within the enclosure during operation.
