The device affixes to the computers triangular aluminium leg and then bolts to the flat surface, e.g. a desk, with four security screws formed as T-Bolts (see fig.2). The device/clamp is machined with a recess so that it holds the triangular shaped leg firmly in place and makes it extremely difficult to remove unless you have a correct security head bit. In the machined recess a 2mm layer of rubber is affixed to provide an anti-slip/anti scratch surface for the leg. The device/clamp may have an anodized or a powder coated finish and in the recess there is a layer of rubber so as to provide an anti-slip/anti-scratch surface for the leg.

The door is transparent, allowing people to view the contents of the safe for security reasons. The safes may be powered using a male/female multi-plug from a single power source.

Barbs on the locking member tip may resist retraction of the tip following assembly. A cam locking structure may help hold the first and second structures together. Locking features may resist longitudinal motion between the first and second structures. Snap features may provide a fail-safe mechanism to prevent disassembly of the assembly following an accidental dislodgement of the tip portion.
