Improvements in dartboards

A dartboard fret is formed as an integral moulding of plastics material and may comprise rings and radial spokes defining number-valued dart-receiving areas, optionally with separate plastic "25" and "50" ring units. The surfaces of the rings and spokes facing the direction from which the darts approach may consist of two inclined faces serving to deflect darts to one side or the other of the ring or spoke. There may be an integral outer ring defining a surround area around the dart-receiving area, and an integral border, optionally with means for securing darts removably, outside the surround area. The fret may be fitted to a board by inserting a central tubular flange on the fret into a central hole in the board and by fitting a rearwardly directed annular flange on the outer ring of the surround area round the edge of the board. The whole assembly, complete with darts, may be packaged by heat-sealing a heat-shrinkable thermoplastics film about the assembly, and heat-treating the film to shrink it about the assembly.
