In general terms, the lens overlays of the present invention comprise thin, formed plastic overlays that can easily be attached to the inside or outside of the primary protective lenses by the user. This mandate has introduced new challenges to the society. One of these challenges is formation of fog on the eyewear while wearing a mask. The direction of the leaked exhaled air from the upper edge of a face covering mask is upward. The location of the portion of the lens of the eyewear that is in front of the eye of the user is on top of the upper edge of the mask (because pulling up the mask further than the eye is not practically possible as the mask would block the eyesight). Hence, the leaked exhaled air (leaked from the top of the mask) moves over the surface of the lens of the eyewear and causes formation of fog on the surface of the lens of the eyewear. To solve the problem of formation of fog on the lens of an eyewear while wearing a face cover, this disclosure proposes a device that prevents the eyewear from getting exposed to the air of exhaling. For this aim, this device redirects the flow of the exhaled air that leaks from the top of the mask. Unlike the solutions in the prior art, the main embodiment of the device disclosed in this application is a standalone device. No modification to the eyewear is needed (although one embodiment of this invention is integrated in the eyewear during manufacturing the eyewear). No modification to the face covering mask is needed either (although one embodiment of this invention is integrated in the face covering mask during manufacturing the face covering mask). The anti-fog goggles include: a frame configured such that a lens is attached to the front surface thereof, and configured to surround the face of a wearer; at least one air outlet formed on a side of the frame, and configured to include an outlet body formed in a funnel shape whose diameter decreases backward and a filter formed on the front of the outlet body; air intakes formed between the lens and the face of the wearer; and an air transfer tube configured to connect between the air intakes and the air outlet, and configured such that a distal end thereof protrudes into the air outlet; wherein, as external air has faster flow velocity due to a difference in pressure while passing through a distal end of the air transfer tube, moisture is moved to the air outlet via the air transfer tube. 1. Anti-fog goggles , comprising:a frame configured such that a lens is attached to a front surface thereof, and configured to surround a face of a wearer;at least one air outlet formed on a side of the frame, and configured to include an outlet body formed in a funnel shape whose diameter decreases backward and a filter formed on a front of the outlet body;air intakes formed between the lens and the face of the wearer; andan air transfer tube configured to connect between the air intakes and the air outlet, and configured such that a distal end thereof is formed to protrude into the air outlet;wherein as external air entering in front of the air outlet has faster flow velocity due to a difference in pressure, by which pressure in the air outlet is decreased, while passing through a distal end of the air transfer tube, moisture generated inside the lens is moved to the air outlet via the air transfer tube.2. A headworn support comprising:a lens having a posterior surface adjacent a face of a user when worn and an anterior surface opposite the posterior surface;a frame comprising a plurality of contact points configured to contact the lens; anda retention assembly attached to the frame, the retention assembly configured to secure the lens to the frame so that the lens contacts the frame at the plurality of contact points,wherein, when the lens is secured in the headworn support, an upper edge of the lens and a lower edge of the frame are spaced apart between contact points to allow venting of the lens and a total, continuous chord length of the upper edge that is spaced apart from the frame is at least 20% of the total chord length of the upper edge of the lens,wherein a posterior surface of the lens between contact points extends a protrusion distance beyond a posterior extension of the posterior surface of the lens, wherein the protrusion distance is less than or equal to about 4 mm.2. An anti-fog lens includes an optical body, made of polycarbonates, and an anti-fog film combination located at a rear surface of the optical body. The anti-fog film combination is constructed of an anti-fog film made of triacetate, and a polycarbonate film, which are joined together by spreading an optical adhesive therebetween. The optical body and the anti-fog film combination are subsequently placed in a mold into which a molten polycarbonate material is fed. As such, the optical body and the anti-fog film can be joined together after the molten polycarbonate material is cooled and solidified. Preferably, the anti-fog film has a thickness between 0.3 and 0.6 mm, and the polycarbonate film has a thickness between 0.3 and 0.6 mm. The anti-fog lens can achieve a stable and excellent performance on prevention of fog.
