A low inventory method of making eyeglasses. Two lens elements having special complementary surfaces are provided. These lens elements can be positioned relative to each other to provide wide ranges of focus correction and astigmatism correction. Various preferred embodiments of the invention are described. In one embodiment the required inventory is only identical sets of two complementary lenses for providing correction for almost all needed eye correction for a typical population. In this embodiment, the lens units are first adjusted relative to each other to provide a desired focusing power. Astigmatism may be corrected by a small adjustment in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction followed by a rotation of the two lenses about the axis of the two lenses. When the adjustments have been made the two lenses are fixed with respect to each other and installed in eyeglass frames. Cutting to the shape of the eyeglass frames can occur either before or after the fixing.

A rearview mirror that is attached to the front surface; left or right side, of any type of eyewear where rear viewing is needed, but especially designed with sportswear in mind. This design is unique because of how and it is attached; to the surface of the eyewear by so-called socketed suction cup; truly held on by atmospheric pressure. The cup being about ¼″ inch in diameter can hold on with about 4 lbs of force with a gentle touch because it is made of pliable rubber. The interior of the suction cup has a ball socket housing; both socket and suction cup is all one piece. The stem and ball, is a part of the plastic housing, which encases the mirror, which is all one piece, with smooth rounded edges for safety. The plastic housing exterior acts as an airfoil plate, designed and shaped in such a way to give way to the wind, and cause less turbulence. The ball and socket allows the mirror to swivel in all directions from 0-45 degrees of adjustment in angle, which is adjusted by hand. The mirror can be placed laterally across the eyewear lens also for adjustment without obscuring the frontal view. Facing straight ahead with a slight glance of the eye to the left (right if placed on the right side) as you would do when driving an automobile, you will get 40 to 70 degree rearward view while looking straight ahead; approximately ⅞ by 1½ inch wide mirror. The mirror will enable the user to complete a 365-degree viewing area with only a 45-degree turn of the head to a left then right direction. The mirror is placed in a strategic position on the lens of the eyewear in close proximity to the eye, but not an off-to-the side angle that can strain the eye. Clip-on sunglasses for plastic eyeglass frames are shaped more like a bracket, with a nearly 90° bend to accommodate the thickness of plastic eyeglass frames. The ends of the bracket also angle for 45° towards each other to avoid hitting the nose piece of the plastic eyeglass frame. In the clip-on sunglasses, a latch controls two arms to rotate the arms up to a 45° angle with respect to a pair of plastic eyeglass frames. To provide binocular loupes capable of ensuring an optimal focal distance for a user using a simple operation, focus adjustment units disposed in eyepiece units of a pair of left and right loupe bodies of binocular loupes are provided with focus adjustment lenses, and holding rings having magnetic bodies into which the focus adjustment lenses are fitted. The holding rings are mounted in contact with correction lenses constituting optical systems inside the loupe bodies, are drawn and held by magnet rings. By this means, it is possible to readily replace the focus adjustment lenses by mounting the lenses detachably from the loupe bodies, and it is possible to ensure an optimal focal distance. 1. The invention relates to an assembled structure of a main spectacle frame and an assistant lens frame. Sliding slots having fixing parts are disposed on inner sides of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Through holes are disposed in front of the lens frame and positioned to correspond to the sliding slots. The assistant lens frame is disposed on the front side of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Positioning bumps are protrudingly disposed on inner sides of the assistant lens frame to correspond to the through holes on two sides of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Eyeglasses with a removable upper section are disclosed. The upper section is pre-attached to the lenses, such that the upper section of the eyeglasses is lowered, each with a respective lens, into a lower section of the eyeglasses. The upper section and lower section then form a continuous front face of the eyeglasses and are held together by connectors, such as magnets at extreme left and right sides of the upper sections to magnets within a cutout of the lower section adapted to fit the upper section there-within. This creates, at least a continuous top side and front side of the eyeglasses with lenses between the upper and lower portions thereof.
