The calendar mechanism includes a 31 wheel set ( 31 ) for controlling a date indicator, a date drive means for driving the 31 wheel set, a 12 wheel set ( 12 ) for controlling a month indicator, and a monthly drive means for driving the 12 wheel set at the end of each month. The monthly drive means is activated by the 31 wheel set during the change from the end of one month to the first day of the next month. The calendar mechanism further includes a manually activated month corrector device arranged to advance the 31 wheel set in one stroke to an angular position corresponding to the indication of the first day of the next month, so that the monthly drive means, activated by the change from one month to the next, increments the 12 wheel set by one step.

Said spring means are adapted to impart a rotary stepping movement to said date-stepping finger in said predetermind direction of revolution and into engagement with said first series of teeth when said date-stepping finger has thus been withdrawn from said first series of teeth. The time-setting device comprises a key and a time-setting gear train. The key comprises a cylindrical shaft 112'' rotatably mounted and sliding in a tube integral with the back 6 of the case. A mutilated toothed wheel 118 is fixed to the inner end of the shaft. A blade 116 is mounted for pivotal movement about the outer end of the shaft 112''. The blade 116, in the folded back position, can be introduced into a seating 126 formed in the back of the case. A return spring 140 normally maintains the wheel 118 above the adjusting wheel 22. When the blade 116 is in the angular position for being introduced into the seating 126, the un-toothed recess 118c of the multilated wheel 118 is directed towards the wheel 22 so that the teeth of the wheels 22 and 118 do not clash when the shaft 112'' is pulled out by the blade 116 for time-setting by turning the blade and shaft. After release of the blade, the spring 140 returns the shaft and wheel 118 to the retracted position (Figure 3a) in which the blade can be freely rotated for introduction into the seating 126.

1515147 Calendar watches FRANCE EBAUCHES SA 8 Aug 1975 [27 Aug 1974] 33190/75 Heading G3T In a calendar watch having a stem 8 axially movable between (A) winding, (B) calendar correcting and (C) time setting positions, and a clutch wheel 3 movable on the stem by means of a first rocker 21 so that the clutch wheel meshes in position (A) with a winding pinion 18 and in positions (B) and (C) with an intermediate wheel 2 mounted on a second rocker 1, the three positions of stem and clutch wheel being determined by a pull-out piece 17 with a pin 5 which co-operates with a notched check spring 23, the second rocker I is freely mounted and its positions are determined by its head profile 19 which co-operates with the pin 5 on the pull-out piece, and the arrangement is such that in positions (A) and (B) the intermediate wheel 2 and second rocker 1 occupy identical forward positions, and are retracted, to bring the intermediate wheel into mesh with the motion work, only when the stem is pulled out to position (C). Thus, in position (B) shown, the intermediate wheel couples the clutch wheel 3 to a calendar correction wheel 6; rocker 1 is omitted from Fig. 3 for clarity. Clockwise rotation of the stem then causes advance of wheels 11-13 and thus of a day disc 14, while anti-clockwise rotation displaces the wheel 6 in slot 10 for correction of a date ring 9. In position (C), the wheels 2, 3 remain in mesh but the wheel 2 then meshes with wheel 4 of the motion work, Figs. 6, 7, (not shown).

The invention relates to an instantaneous drive mechanism for a watch movement comprising a mobile (2) and a lever (6) pivoting, the lever being arranged to cooperate, on the one hand, with the mobile to be moved and, on the other hand, on the other hand, with a counter (8, 13) of the watch movement, with the aim of incrementing it by means of instantaneous pulses. The mobile (2) comprises a first cam (28) having a periphery of variable radius arranged to cooperate with the first arm (7) of the lever and away from the center of the mobile (2) when the latter rotates in a first direction of rotation, before falling, under the effect of the action of elastic means (22). The mechanism is characterized in that the mobile (2) comprises a safety member (38) arranged to cooperate with the lever (6) to move away from the center of the mobile when the latter rotates in the second direction of rotation.
