Технический результат - уменьшение мощности, потребляемой при формировании обратного хода развертки в режиме формирования строк растра. В предлагаемом устройстве, содержащем схему вычитания, усилитель, отклоняющую катушку, резистор обратной связи и цепь обратной связи, указанный результат достигается введением двустороннего ключа, конденсатора, диода, второго усилителя, второй цепи обратной связи и транзисторного ключа. Уменьшение потребляемой мощности обусловлено тем, что на большую часть времени формирования обратного хода развертки первый усилитель отключен от отклоняющей катушки, а для изменения направления протекания тока используется явление резонанса в индуктивно-емкостном контуре. 2 ил.

At least two electron guns of the triple system (3, 4, 5) are mounted outside the tube long axis. In front of the phosphor screen is mounted in a shadow mask (2). The three electron beams are treated by a main deflection system in two mutually orthogonal deflection direction. A correction deflection device is effective in one plane only and effects a predeflection of at least one electron beam. Between this correction deflection device and the main deflection system is provided a second correction deflection device, also effective in one plane only. The deflection direction of the two correction devices are in opposite senses. The predeflection capacity for the two non-axial electron beams are adjustable as to provide in the region of the main deflection system the desired direction and spacing from the tube axis.

In a convergence device for a three primary-color projection type color television system with three cathode-ray tubes, it is known to use two separate cores respectively for dynamic and static convergence correction. In the present invention a single core is used and the core is provided with eight pole pieces aligned along the vertical, horizontal and two diagonal axes, each pole piece having a winding therearound. The vertically and horizontally aligned pole pieces are used to correct horizontal and vertical dynamic convergence respectively. The diagonally aligned pole pieces are used for both the horizontal and vertical static convergence correction by producing magnetic fields horizontally and vertically. The construction is much simpler than the prior art, and the correction of dynamic and static convergence which is required as a result of the difference in incident angles between electron beams projected on a screen can be easily attained.

Two six-pole annular magnetic structures are arranged about the neck of a three-in-line colour display tube so as to be eccentric with respect to each other and with respect to the centre of the neck. The centre of one six-pole is situated halfway between the central electron beam and one outer electron beam. The two beams on both sides of the centre of the six-pole, consequently,are subjected to equal forces of the same direction. The third beam is subjected to a force in the same direction, but this force is nine times larger due to the three times as larger distance from the centre of the six-pole and due to the square-law field variation thereof. Because of their identical direction and value, the forces acting on the former beams will not disturb the convergence therebetween.

Технический результат - повышение долговечности и стабильности динамического напряжения пробоя разрядника с водородным наполнением. Способ изготовления разрядника с водородным наполнением заключается в размещении элементов конструкции в оболочке, включающей изолятор, наполнении оболочки электроотрицательным газом, тренировке с последующим удалением газа из оболочки, промывке ее водородом и наполнении рабочим газом до давления, обеспечивающего заданное динамическое напряжение пробоя. После этого на электроды разрядника подают импульсы напряжения и проводят тренировку в рабочем режиме при условии, что динамическое напряжение пробоя находится на уровне напряжения скользящего пробоя по внутренней поверхности изолятора с исключением возможности пробоя по изолятору, в процессе наполнения разрядника рабочим газом первоначально его наполняют до давления, при котором величина динамического напряжения пробоя на 5÷10% больше напряжения равновесного состояния, когда динамическое напряжение пробоя равно напряжению скользящего пробоя по внутренней поверхности изолятора. Затем на электроды разрядника подают импульсы напряжения и тренируют до стабилизации динамического напряжения пробоя, затем постепенно снижают давление до момента установления динамического напряжения пробоя на уровне напряжения скользящего пробоя по внутренней поверхности изолятора с исключением возможности пробоя по изолятору и достижения заданного значения динамического напряжения пробоя, лежащего в пределах: 0.9U 0 <U пб.дин. <1,05U 0 , где U 0 - напряжение равновесного состояния, когда динамическое напряжение пробоя равно напряжению скользящего пробоя по внутренней поверхности изолятора. 3 ил. Electrostatic alignment of a charged particle beam

A field emission source produces a charged particle beam that can be electrostatically aligned with the optical axis. Quadrupole (or higher multipole) centering electrodes approximately centered on the optical axis are placed between the emitter and the extraction electrode. By applying centering potentials of equal amplitude and opposite polarity on opposing elements of the centering electrodes, an electrostatic deflection field is created near the optical axis. The electrostatic deflection field aligns the charged particle beam with the optical axis thereby obviating the need to mechanically align the emitter with the optical axis. A second set of centering electrodes may be used to deflect the charged particle beam back and to ensure that the charged particle beam is parallel with the optical axis. Further, the extraction electrode may be split into a quadrupole arrangement with the extraction and centering potentials superimposed.

Concentrating process and device for an electron beam.. Is intended to be used in combination with an electron beam welding apparatus in which it is important that the beam will be concentrated and regulated in a precise manner. A plate is arranged, which comprises a slit, at the point where it is desired to concentrate the beam. The beam is oscillated through the plate so that the electrons pass through the slit and pass into a collecting cup; the potential developed in this cup is measured and the beam is then concentrated so that the potential developed in this cup is measured and the beam is then concentrated so that the potential is at a maximum value. The device is intended to be used in combination with a welding apparatus and an oscillograph for operating the process. A first capacitor is connected between the convergence voltage source and the low-voltage electrode plates or the high-voltage electrode plates, and a second capacitor is connected between the low-voltage electrode plates or the high-voltage electrode plates and ground.

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: In a deflecting yoke of an in-line type color picture tube, a pair of saturable reactors responsive to vertical deflection is connected to two horizontal deflecting coils so that horizontal deflection currents respectively flowing through the two horizontal deflecting coils are controlled differentially in ac-cordance with the degree of the vertical deflection, thereby minimizing raster distortion. Each of the saturable reactors may comprise a series connection of two coils connected to the vertical deflecting coils, and another series connection of two coils connected to the horizon-tal deflecting coils. The first-mentioned series con-nection may be omitted by positioning the second-mentioned series connection so that leakage flux from the vertical deflecting coils can be picked up. The core or cores of each of the saturable reactors is magnetically biased by means of a permanent magnet. A single disk-like magnet may be rotatably held in contact with two parallel arranged reactor cores, so that rotation thereof results in change in impedance of the reactor.

Method of correcting deflection defocusing in self-converged color crt display systems

A B S T R A C T This disclosure pertains to the production of self-converged color CRT display systems, and in particular to a method of reducing the effects of off-axis deflection defocusing of electron beams in such systems. The disclosed method comprises installing in the neck of each color CRT bulb a three beam in-line-type electron gun whose mechanical and electrical design parameters are such that the beams in their free fall state have a selected nominal value of underconvergence at the screen which is such that substantially the entire population of production tubes is underconverged. On the neck of each tube is installed a self-converging yoke which establishes, in addition to main deflection magnetic field components, an astigmatic field component which self-converges said beams, but which undesirably introduces astigmatic deflection defocusing of the beams when deflected off the tube axis. Static convergence of said beams at said screen effected by establishing a static astigmatic quadrupolar magnetic field component common to all three beams and opposite to said astigmatic yoke field component which, while accomplishing the desired static beam convergence, deliberately introduces an astigmatic distortion of said beams. The distortion is a function, for each tube, of the free fall underconvergence value for that tube and at least partially compensating the deflected beams for the deflection defocusing of the beams by the oppositely directed astigmatic yoke field component.
