The power tool may be comprised of two or more lithium-ion battery cells connected in series and operable to drive the motor in the tool. A microcontroller monitors the voltage of the battery cells and terminates charging of the battery cells in accordance with the monitored voltages of the battery cells. The microcontroller does not receive power from the battery cells but is only powered by the AC adapter. Of note, each of the battery cells preferably employs an electrolyte composition comprised of a redox shuttle material. In combination with other tool components, the use of the redox shuttle material reduces or eliminates the need for expensive charge and discharge controls, thereby reducing the cost of the tool.

A method of using a hand-held power tool having a debris removal attachment is provided. The method includes providing a hand-held power tool having an output shaft and selectively coupling an extension shaft to the output shaft. The method also includes coupling a first impeller to the extension shaft and providing a housing adjacent the first impeller. The method further includes rotating the first impeller to generate a pressure differential sufficient to draw debris into the housing. The extension shaft has a first end and a second end, the first end configured to couple to the output shaft of the hand-held power tool, and the second end configured to couple to a tool bit. 1. A method of using a hand-held power tool having a debris removal attachment , the method comprising:providing a hand-held power tool having an output shaft;selectively coupling an extension shaft to the output shaft, the extension shaft having a first end and a second end, the first end configured to couple to the output shaft of the hand-held power tool, and the second end configured to couple to a tool bit;coupling a first impeller to the extension shaft;providing a housing adjacent the first impeller; androtating the first impeller to generate a pressure differential sufficient to draw debris into the housing.2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising coupling a second impeller to the extension shaft claim 1 , the rotation of which is configured to push debris away from an interface between the extension shaft and the hand-held power tool.3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising coupling the attachment to a tool neck of the hand-held power tool.4. A power tool includes: a handle housing housing a battery and having a first grip part; a motor driven by electric power of the battery; a power transmission system; a main housing housing the handle housing, the motor and the power transmission system and having a second grip part; and a turning mechanism turnably connected at a rear end part of the main housing and a front end part of the handle housing. The power tool is operable at least in a state that the main housing and the handle housing are disposed straight and a state that they are disposed to be folded. In the folded state, the second grip part is positioned in front of the first grip part in an axial direction of the main housing. A trigger and a forward/reverse switch that control the rotation of the motor are disposed on the handle housing side. 1.
