In monitoring mode, the loudspeaker and associated amplifier module are deactivated in mobile stations which are located in rooms which are to be monitored. A cellular telephone system, including a cellular telephone transceiver unit, an ear piece which receives the voice vibrations of a user, and a wireless linkage operatively connecting the ear piece to the cellular telephone transceiver unit, allows a user to be in a hands-free mode when using a cellular telephone. The cellular telephone transceiver unit includes a personal digital assistant and a pager with a vibration module. The ear piece generally uses a bone sensor along with an air sensor placed in the external auditory canal of the user to detect the voice vibrations of the user. Further, a speaker is included in the ear piece to allow the user to hear incoming data from the cellular telephone transceiver. The wireless linkage uses low power radio frequency waves to send and receive signals between the ear piece and the cellular telephone transceiver unit. Both the ear piece and the cellular telephone transceiver unit require power which is supplied by batteries. Both the ear piece and the cellular telephone transceiver may be recharged by simply placing them in a docking station.

A computer-implemented method comprising:generating, with a mobile device comprising a camera, a plurality of images of a portion of a real space containing an object having a position;tracking, at the control device, the position of the object based at least on the plurality of images received from the mobile device;monitoring, at the control device, the position of the object for an event conforming to a rule, the event based on the rule and the position of the object in the real space;generating, at the control device or at a client device, an indication that the event has been detected by the control device;initiating a match at the control device; andpairing the mobile device to the control device causing the images received from the mobile device to be associated with the match based on a match identifier and a device identifier, where commands transmitted from the control device are executed by the mobile device when the command includes the match identifier and the device identifier.2. This allows a user to place and receive calls over a wireless network using the existing wireline infrastructure in a building. By using the invention, users can consolidate their portable and fixed phone service with one of the multiple wireless service provides and bypass the wireline service provider entirely, if so desired. In a second embodiment, the wireless communications interface is directly connected to the phone appliances, bypassing the installed wireline infrastructure. In a third embodiment, both wireline and wireless service are operative, and the wireless communications interface may include logic arbitration to route multiple calls to multiple phone appliances. 1. A method of communication , comprising:receiving an indication to establish communication between a wireless device and an appliance device;establishing a communication connection between the wireless device and the appliance device;determining that the communication is complete; andterminating the connection between the wireless device and the appliance device.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving an indication comprises detecting an incoming call to the wireless device.3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising selecting the appliance device from a plurality of appliance devices.4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising ordering the plurality of appliance devices according to a hierarchy.5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the appliance device is selected based on the hierarchy.6.
