An image forming apparatus and image forming method are provided. An image forming apparatus includes an inputter configured to receive a form image, a detector configured to detect at least one area where a content is inputtable from the form image, a user interface configured to receive a command to input a content into the detected area, a controller configured to make the detected area correspond to the inputted content and an outputter configured to print a content inputted into the detected area on an area corresponding to the inputted content. 1. An image forming apparatus , comprising:an inputter configured to receive a form image;a detector configured to detect at least one area where a content is inputtable from the form image;a user interface configured to receive a command to input a content into the detected area;a controller configured to make the inputted content correspond to the detected area; andan outputter configured to print the content inputted into the detected area on an area corresponding to the inputted content.2. The image forming apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the outputter combines and prints the content corresponding to the detected area on the form image.3. The image forming apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:a scanner configured to scan a manuscript and generate a scan image,wherein the inputter receives a scan image generated from the scanner.4. The image forming apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the detector outputs information regarding a location and a size of an area where the detected content is inputtable using two 2-dimensional coordinates.5. The image forming apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the detector divides the received image into a unit of a predetermined-size block and detects at least one area where a content is inputtable.6. An image forming system which, even when overprinting is made on a sheet processed by an external device, prevents misregistration of the image formed on the sheet, and a control method for the image forming system, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program. The image forming system includes an image forming device, an image reader, an arithmetic processor, and a controller. The arithmetic processor calculates the information on shrinkage which occurs in the sheet when the sheet is subjected to a treatment process by the external device, as external shrinkage information. The controller calculates an image correction value according to the external shrinkage information. The image forming device forms an image according to the image correction value when forming the image on the processed sheet. 1. An image forming system comprising:an image forming device which forms an image on a sheet;an image reader which reads the image formed on the sheet;an arithmetic processor which calculates information on shrinkage which occurs in the sheet when the sheet is subjected to a treatment process by an external device installed separately from the image forming device, according to image data read by the image reader, as external shrinkage information; anda controller which calculates an image correction value according to the external shrinkage information calculated by the arithmetic processor, whereinthe image forming device forms the image according to the image correction value when forming the image on the sheet subjected to the treatment process.2. The image forming system according to claim 1 , wherein the arithmetic processor calculates the external shrinkage information according to information on main shrinkage which occurs in the sheet when the sheet passes through the image forming device.3. An image forming apparatus includes circuitry that binarizes image data, a memory, and a print engine unit that forms an image of the binarized image data. When the image data is low in resolution, the circuitry has the image data stored in the memory and thereafter performs on the image data, detection processing for detecting whether or not the image data includes a predetermined pattern before binarization processing. When the image data is high in resolution, the circuitry binarizes the image data, thereafter has the image data stored in the memory, thereafter further performs multivalue converting processing on the image data, and thereafter performs detection processing.
