A fixing mechanism includes a first bending plate, a second bending plate and a fixing part. The second bending plate is connected to the first bending plate at a bending angle. The fixing part is detachably disposed through the first bending plate or the second bending plate to be disposed around a pole. The fixing part is used for clamping the pole with first tooth structures on the first bending plate or second tooth structures on the second bending plate. When the fixing part clamps the pole with the first tooth structures, the electronic device is substantially parallel to the pole. When the fixing part clamps the pole with the second tooth structures, an angle included between the electronic device and the pole is equal to a supplementary angle of the bending angle.

The display tilting apparatus for rotating the display apparatus upward and downward according to the present invention comprises: a rotary plate rotating upward and downward centering on one eccentric shaft; an upper link member connected to an upper part of the rotary plate, for rotating the rotary plate; a lower link member connected to a lower part of the rotary plate, for rotating the rotary plate; a tilting plate rotating upward and downward, for mounting the display apparatus, in which the upper link member is connected to an upper part, and the lower link member is connected to a lower part; and a fixing plate for rotatably supporting the eccentric shaft of the rotary plate and an upper fixing shaft and a lower fixing shaft installed in a middle of the upper link member and the lower link member.

A method for video playback uses only resources universally supported by a browser (“inline playback”) operating in virtually all handheld media devices. In one case, the method first prepares a video sequence for display by a browser by (a) dividing the video sequence into a silent video stream and an audio stream; (b) extracting from the silent video stream a number of still images, the number of still images corresponding to at least one of a desired output frame rate and a desired output resolution; and (c) combining the still images into a composite image. In one embodiment, the composite image having a number of rows, with each row being formed by the still images created from a fixed duration of the silent video stream. Another method plays the still images of the composite image as a video sequence by (a) loading the composite image to be displayed through a viewport defined the size of one of the still images; (b) selecting one of the still images of the composite image; (c) setting the viewport to display the selected still image; and (d) setting a timer for a specified time period based on a frame rate, such that, upon expiration of the specified time period: (i) selecting a next one of the still images to be displayed in the viewport, unless all still images of the composite image have been selected; and (ii) return to step (c) if not all still images have been selected.

The voltage application section ( 7 ) selects a scan electrode out of the plurality of scan electrodes every sub frame period and applies a voltage thereto, and applies, to at least one of the plurality of signal electrodes, a voltage in accordance with a light extraction rate of the liquid crystal element ( 9 ). The present invention can be suitably used as a backlight of an image display device.

A method for examining liquid crystal driving voltages in a liquid crystal display device is provided. An image-sticking test frame is displayed on the liquid crystal display device. The image-sticking test frame includes at least one first pattern having a first gray level, at least one second pattern having a second gray level and at least one third pattern having a third gray level. The third gray level is between the first and second gray levels. The present invention uses the third gray level as a reference, so as to judge whether the liquid crystal driving voltage corresponding to the first gray level is accurate and whether the liquid crystal driving voltage corresponding to the second gray level is accurate.

A touch panel is constructed by a display/sensor unit which is slightly larger than a display screen of an LCD and a sensor unit which is projected to the outside from one side, for example, from one side on the right. A finger of the user is touched to a selection item such as desired button, icon, or the like on the display/sensor unit and vertically moved on the sensor unit. A selection display constructed by a plurality of buttons is displayed along the side of the display screen by the LCD. A button beside the finger is highlighted. When the finger is released, the highlighted button is selected. If there are no buttons adjacent to the finger, the button is not highlighted. Even if the finger is released, the state is not changed. When finger is moved to the display/sensor unit, the selection display disappears.
