It is now common place to attach a cover screen over the front of, for example, a VDU which cover screen may, for example, be a mesh glass or plastics. The cover screen serves to reduce glare, static and emissions. The cover screen is supported in a perimeter frame which is then positioned over the front of a VDU screen. The production of a cover screen support which will fit a number of differently sized or shaped appliances is therefore desirable. Accordingly there is provided a cover screen support 10 comprising a perimeter frame 14 which supports a cover screen 12, the perimeter frame further comprising a top plate 16 and two side plates 18,20 which when the cover screen support is in use extend over respective top and side panels of an appliance and resiliant means 26 enabling the cover screen to be moved horizontally with respect to the appliance for accurate location relative thereto. Incremental Angular Position and Locking System for Mounting Devices

A mounting system comprising an incremental angular position and locking system. A tilt bracket is configured to operatively connect to a surface, and an adapter bracket is operatively and movably connected to the tilt bracket, with the adapter bracket being configured to operatively connect to an object such as an audio/video device. A plurality of angular position features are associated with one of the tilt bracket and the adapter bracket, and an angular positioning element is configured to selectively engage at least one of the plurality of angular position features. When the angular positioning element is in engaged with at least one angular position feature, the adapter bracket is impeded from moving relative to the tilt bracket. When the angular positioning element is not in engagement with at least one angular position feature, the adapter bracket is substantially free to move relative to the tilt bracket.

Display device and method for manufacturing the same

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a highly reliable display device at a low cost with high yield. According to the present invention, a step due to an opening in a contact is covered with an insulating layer to reduce the step, and is processed into a gentle shape. A wiring or the like is formed to be in contact with the insulating layer and thus the coverage of the wiring or the like is enhanced. In addition, deterioration of a light-emitting element due to contaminants such as water can be prevented by sealing a layer including an organic material that has water permeability in a display device with a sealing material. Since the sealing material is formed in a portion of a driver circuit region in the display device, the frame margin of the display device can be narrowed.

Method and device for wall mounting flat panel monitor and storing associated audio/video components

A mounting device for a flat panel monitor. The mounting device comprises a front panel and a mating second rear panel for connection with one another to form a housing. At least the front panel has a plurality of mounting apertures therein for securing the housing to a desired flat panel monitor while the rear panel has a mounting mechanism which facilitates attachment of the housing to a desired support surface. The support incorporates a u-shaped supporting member that generally extends across the length of the device, and is attached to the device using independent sidepieces that conform to the shape of the device, creating a press-fit.
